Intelligent process planning is a key technology in intelligent manufacturing. Process-planning problems are extremely difficult. By analyzing the process network graph and the topological relationship of the nodes inside the network, a mixed-integer linear programming model can be established based on the OR node with its process-selecting logic in order to obtain optimal process plans. This modeling technology, which has been verified multiple times in both famous benchmarks and real-life production cases, can break through the limitations of traditional process-planning technologies. In real-life production, the operator only needs to input the process parameters of the workpiece in order to automatically obtain the optimal process plan in a short computation time and thus be able to improve the production efficiency.
