Tissue engineering technology has developed rapidly in recent years, as evidenced by this image illustrating the latest research progress in the field. In particular, significant progress has been made in exosome research, bringing new technologies into regenerative medicine. As shown in the top image, exosomes enter chondrocytes to promote chondrocyte damage and repair (red indicates stem cell exosomes, blue shows the chondrocyte nucleus, and green indicates the chondrocyte cytoskeleton). The bottom image depicts the neural acellular matrix; for the first time, researchers have revealed the wonderful and complex biological micro-nano structure of the cellular matrix.
