Frontiers in Energy 2021, Volume 15, Issue 1,   Pages 68-77 doi: 10.1007/s11708-020-0697-9

Abstract: megawatt (MW) pulverized coal industrial boiler equipped with a new type of swirling pulverized coal burnerThe mean axial velocity and the particle volume flux in the central region of the burner outlet wereThis indicated that a central recirculation zone was formed in the center of the burner.direction of the jet, the peak value formed by the tertiary air gradually moved toward the center of the burner

Frontiers in Energy 2013, Volume 7, Issue 3,   Pages 406-412 doi: 10.1007/s11708-013-0266-6

Abstract: To reduce oil consumption during firing-up and partial-load operation, a tiny-oil ignition burner hasThe ignition burner is identical to that normally used in an 800 MWe utility boiler. However on the burner centerline, distributions increased slightly with increasing flow rate.Different gas concentrations were measured at the center of the burner exit.At the same coal feed rate of 4 t/h, burner resistances are 480, 600, and 740 Pa for oil flow rates of

Study on Bias Coal Combustion Technologies with Air-surrounding-fuel

Qin Yukun,Li Zhengqi,Sun Rui,Chen Lizhe,Sun Shaozeng,Zhu Qunyi,Li Ruiyang,Gao Jihui,Wu Shaohua

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 11,   Pages 42-49

Abstract:

This paper reviews and analyses the major findings of research during the last 15 years in Harbin Institute of Technology, on bias coal combustion technologies. Five problems in China's coal combustion in boilers of power plant are given. The theory and characteristics of air-surrounding-fuel flow of bias coal combustion technologies are introduced and analysed. Industrial experiments tested the theory of airsurrounding-fuel .To greatly decrease the NOx emission, the paper points out the development of these technologies in the future.
