The Karst development characteristics and countermeasure of Yunwushan Tunnel

Xue Bin, Zhang Minqing

Strategic Study of CAE 2009, Volume 11, Issue 12,   Pages 61-68

Abstract:

The revealed karst, karst features and treatment measures are described in detail, and different types of karst-specific countermeasures are put up. At the same time, it is stressed that in the encounter of large-scale high-pressure water-rich cavity filling, macro-scopical analysis and understanding of the geological background governs in determining the treatment schedule. The by-pass schedule pertaining to large-scale karst cavities during construction is put up, and relatively construction organization is modified to ensure the project term target. All these can provide reference for the construction of the long karst tunnels.

Model test of stone columns as liquefaction countermeasure in sandy soils

Mengfei QU,Qiang XIE,Xinwen CAO,Wen ZHAO,Jianjun HE,Jiang JIN

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 481-487 doi: 10.1007/s11709-016-0355-9

Abstract: The shaking table model test was conducted to investigate earthquake resistant behavior of stone columns under the intensity of an earthquake resistance of buildings is VIII. The test results show that when acceleration is less than 0.20 g, composite foundation is not liquefied, settlement is also small and pile dislocation is not observed; when acceleration is 0.3g, ground outside embankment’s slope toe is liquefied and ground within stone column composite foundation is not. It is suggesting that reinforcement scale of stone column foundation should be widened properly. The designed stone column composite foundation meets the requirements for seismic resistance.

Analysis of Influencing Factor of Brand Competitiveness

Bing Hongyan

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 5,   Pages 79-83

Abstract:

Transnational corporations carry out the global strategy, from product export, capital export to brand export. This kind of multipurpose export which relies on abundant capital and is guaranteed by the advanced technology, as a flag with brand ,impacts greatly the national brand and gives it a severe challenge. Facing the foreign brand large-scale entering, the problem appears gradually that national brands are short of competitiveness. The author tries to discuss countermeasures to improve brand competitiveness by analyzing the influencing factor of brand competitiveness.

Development Strategy for the Assessment and Management of Aquaculture Environment in China

Jia Xiaoping,Chen Haigang,Chen Jiachang,Yang Jian,Meng Shunlong,Shen Xinqiang,Qi Zhanhui and Zhu Changbo

Strategic Study of CAE 2016, Volume 18, Issue 3,   Pages 62-67 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2016.03.010

Abstract:

The significance of assessment and management of aquaculture environment is explained in this paper. Meanwhile, the developmental status and main problems on these issues are analyzed and studied systematically. By means of global experiences and inspirational cases in aquaculture industry environment assessment and management technology development, we recommend the development of four key techniques for improving the aquaculture industrial environment as a matter of priority in China, including monitoring, assessment, remediation and management, and put forward four countermeasures, namely comprehensive management, upgrading capacities, priority programming and implementing major projects.

Processing technology for dissolving caverns breach of Yesanguan Tunnel

Sun Guoqing,Gao Guangyi,Xiao Shengneng

Strategic Study of CAE 2009, Volume 11, Issue 12,   Pages 77-81

Abstract:

Taking collapse treatment of cavity rich-water of the Yesanguan Tunnel for example, the construction processes to treat collapse with the method of grouting solid in the condition of drainage and pressure decreasing were introduced. The machinery and equipment of drilling grouting as well as control measures of grouting process in the boundary conditions were also discussed, with a view to provide a reference for dealing with issues of similar projects.

Strategic Thinking on Shallow-water Oil and Gas Exploration in Offshore China

Ke-qiang Wu,Jian-yong Xu,Bo Kang

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2016, Volume 3, Issue 4,   Pages 349-355 doi: 10.15302/J-FEM-2016056

Abstract: The oil and gas exploration in offshore China has made great achievements, and as the important areas of offshore exploration, the shallow waters contribute most of the oil and gas reserves and production. However, the available area for exploration is diminishing and the cost of exploration is rising. The field changes and ever increasing difficulties of exploration bring new challenges technically and economically. Therefore, for effective exploration of shallow-water oil and gas in offshore China, it is necessary to center on the general requirements of becoming a powerful marine country and the ideas of value exploration, initiate key research projects in the fields of China’s offshore stratigraphic-lithologic reserves, Paleogene reserves, buried-hill reserves, high temperature and pressure reserves and hydrocarbon-rich sags, and form geological theories and explorative technologies of large and medium size oil and gas field in offshore China. The measures regarding the challenges include: (1) Innovating theoretical understanding and optimizing new exploration fields, (2) developing technical capabilities and improving the success rate of exploration, and (3) enhancing management level and deepening value exploration.

Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 1,   Pages 6-9

Abstract:

The entry of WTO has brought about a far-reaching influence on the development of agriculture in China. The new opportunities and challenges after China entering into WTO should be precisely seized and effective countermeasures and policies should be taken to fully exert comparative and potential advantages of agriculture in China,so as to push forward vigorously sustainable and smooth development of the overall national economy.

Supply and Demand Analysis, Future Demand Forecast, and Countermeasure Studies for Forage Materials in

Aimin Liu, Panna Jia, Lixin Wang, Liangjie Wu

Strategic Study of CAE 2018, Volume 20, Issue 5,   Pages 39-44 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2018.05.006

Abstract:

With improvement of the living standards, the domestic consumption and production of livestock products such as meat, poultry, eggs, and milk keep increasing, and thus the domestic demand for forage is raised. Based on the analysis of changes in the supply and demand of forage materials in China and the changes in the future demand for domestic livestock and poultry products, the future demand of forage materials is forecasted. The research results show that the gap of supply and demand of forage materials in China will continue expanding in the future, and for the safety of domestic forage supply, cultivation of silage corns should be appropriately expanded and the grass industry in agricultural areas should be developed. Additionally, agricultural resources should be fully and rationally utilized, and the cultivation of crops such as soybeans and rapeseeds should be appropriately expanded to improve the effective supply of domestic meals. Meanwhile, China should make full and reasonable use of overseas agricultural resources to ensure the safe supply of domestic forage materials.
