A new round of technological and industrial changes has accelerated technological integration. Intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) have provided consumers with convenient use, rich application contents, and a safe driving environment. Meanwhile, multiple risks are also brought to information security by intelligentization and networking. In recent years, hacker attacks frequently occur, and information security not only affects driving safety and user data safety, but also threatens national security when being damaged. So, information security issues have attracted great attention from governments all over the world. Major developed countries and regions, such as the United States, Europe, and Japan, are taking active actions to safeguard information security. In this context, China should promote the development and management of the information security of the ICVs, take active measures, make rational planning, and make every effort to ensure the information security of ICVs, thus to promote the steady development of the ICVs.

How Will China's Automobile Industry Face WTO Entry
Jin Lüzhong
Strategic Study of CAE 2000, Volume 2, Issue 8, Pages 18-24
This article analyses the severe situation of automobile industry and its cause in China. In order to meet the challenge China will face after its entry into the WTO, different measures should be adopted for various types of automobiles, according to the actual situation: to devote major efforts to improving agricultural vehicles; to further develop minicars which turn out to be an existed and promising market; to speed up the development of new electric vehicles; to enhance the competitiveness in the international market of state-owned giant automobile companies by building up their capability of developing medium-low grade automobiles in-house and; to develop medium-high and high grade automobiles with much more relaxed policy for at trading foreign funds. Hence, national industry will increase their autonomous intellectual property and produce the absolute majority of automobiles that caters to the demand of rural and urban residents in the country.

New energy vehicles provide an important opportunity for the transformation and upgrading as well as high-quality development of China’s automobile industry. Based on the innovative thinking that should be maintained in the development of new energy vehicles, this paper analyzes the three elements required for innovation, i.e., ideas, talents, and atmosphere; it also presents the thinking methods required for innovation, i.e., prospective thinking, differential thinking, global thinking, and circular thinking. On this basis, it is proposed that the development of new energy vehicles should be promoted by innovation, policies, and the market; good products, infrastructure, and business models are crucial for the development; and the transport, energy, information, and cultural networks should be integrated. It is hoped that this study can provide strategic references for the development of new energy vehicles in China.

Based on the chassis of a car, a multi-body dynamics model was built with ADAMS software. With the objective evaluation index for maneuverability of vehicle, ADAMS function was built to evaluate vehicle maneuverability. Orthogonal optimization design was applied to optimizing vehicle maneuverability with ADAMS software. The applying virtual prototyping technology for vehicle maneuverability and structure orthogonal optimization not only increases accuracy of simulation model compared with lumped-mass model, but also finds the main factors influencing the vehicle maneuverability and gets the optimization levels of the influence factors. The design process can be used in industrial organization.

Strategic Study of CAE 2018, Volume 20, Issue 1, Pages 133-138 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2018.01.019
The automobile parts industry is the foundation of automobile power and is the main driving force promoting the development of the automobile industry. All automobile power countries have a strong parts industry. Now China is in a critical period of growing from a large automobile to automobile power, but it is difficult for the development of the parts industry to support the development of the automobile industry. Through the analysis of problems and opportunities for the development of China’s parts industry, we suggest building a complete independent parts system through strengthening the industrial base, expanding the scale of independent support, and cultivating leading companies to consolidate the development foundation and support the development of automobile power.
