Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2014, Volume 8, Issue 2,   Pages 226-238 doi: 10.1007/s11783-013-0582-4

Abstract: Subcellular distributions and chemical forms of cadmium (Cd) in the leaves, stems and roots were investigatedin low-Cd accumulation cultivars and high-Cd accumulation cultivars of pakchoi ( L.).low-Cd cultivars. The high-Cd cultivars had significantly higher leaf and stem Cd concentrations than the low-Cd cultivarsthan high-Cd cultivars, leaf vacuole sequestrated higher proportions of Cd.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 2,   Pages 219-230 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0469-9

Abstract: different genotypes ( spp.) of vegetable amaranth under low- (0.12 mg·kg ) and middle- (0.40 mg·kg ) cadmium(Cd) exposure. The result showed that amaranth was vulnerable to cadmium (Cd) contamination in soil.Pen), a selected typical non-Cd-PSC, under different Cd exposure conditions were compared. Therefore, adopting Cd-PSC strategy would help reducing the risk of Cd pollution in amaranth.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 2,   Pages 262-269 doi: 10.1007/s11783-014-0746-x

Abstract: Variations in cadmium (Cd) tolerances and accumulations among fifteen wetland plant species in moderatelyCd removal efficiencies from the wastewaters were more than 90%, and 23.5% and 16.8% of the Cd in theSome species were tolerant of heavy Cd stress, and some others were sensitive to moderate Cd level.Four wetland plant species were selected for the treatment of Cd-polluted wastewater for their high Cdaccumulating abilities and relative Cd tolerances.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 85-96 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0399-3

Abstract: pot experiments were conducted to investigate the variations, transfer potential, and stability of Cadmium(Cd) and Lead (Pb) accumulations in celery ( L.) and to screen for low Cd and Pb accumulative cultivarsThe maximum differences in shoot Cd concentration were 4.7-fold under low-Cd exposure and 3.3-fold underhigh-Cd exposure. These genotype variations in Cd accumulation are sufficiently large to help reduce Cd contamination risk

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2010, Volume 4, Issue 4,   Pages 449-458 doi: 10.1007/s11783-010-0250-x

Abstract: A maize variety, Huatian-1, had an unusually low translocation rate of cadmium (Cd) (59.6 mg·kg in the0.093 mg·kg in the grain) compared to 24 other varieties while being grown in soils with 16.50 mg·kg Cdparticular species may have special mechanisms that affect the absorption and translocation pattern of Cdpaper, the technique of suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) was used to isolate and identify Cd-inducedstress, and it might provide new clues to explain the mechanism of maize tolerance to Cd.

Abstract: the sorption behavior of tetracycline (TC, H L) on sediments and soils in the presence and absence of cadmium(Cd), as affected by pH and properties of sediments and soils. The presence of Cd (II) increased TC sorption on both sediments and soils, which resulted from the decreaseof equilibrium solution pH caused by Cd exchange with H ions of sediment/soil surfaces. The increase of TC sorption was also related to the formation of TC-Cd complexes, where Cd acted as
