Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2014, Volume 8, Issue 2,   Pages 226-238 doi: 10.1007/s11783-013-0582-4

Abstract: in low-Cd accumulation cultivars and high-Cd accumulation cultivars of pakchoi ( L.).low-Cd cultivars. The high-Cd cultivars had significantly higher leaf and stem Cd concentrations than the low-Cd cultivarsthan high-Cd cultivars, leaf vacuole sequestrated higher proportions of Cd.accumulation between the two types of cultivars.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 85-96 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0399-3

Abstract: The maximum differences in shoot Cd concentration were 4.7-fold under low-Cd exposure and 3.3-fold underhigh-Cd exposure. These genotype variations in Cd accumulation are sufficiently large to help reduce Cd contamination riskCd accumulation of the Low-Cd-Accumulative genotypes is significantly positive correlated with Pb accumulationThe presence of high-Pb contamination in soil promoted Cd accumulation in shoots of celery.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 2,   Pages 262-269 doi: 10.1007/s11783-014-0746-x

Abstract: Cd removal efficiencies from the wastewaters were more than 90%, and 23.5% and 16.8% of the Cd in theSome species were tolerant of heavy Cd stress, and some others were sensitive to moderate Cd level.Four wetland plant species were selected for the treatment of Cd-polluted wastewater for their high Cdaccumulating abilities and relative Cd tolerances. The results indicate that the Cd accumulation abilities of wetland plant species are determined mainly

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 2,   Pages 219-230 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0469-9

Abstract: Cd concentrations in edible parts of the tested genotypes grown under low- and middle-Cd levels werePen), a selected typical non-Cd-PSC, under different Cd exposure conditions were compared. It was found that the alternation of Cd in F (Cd form extracted by 1 mol·L NaCl) may be a key factorin regulating Cd accumulation of different amaranth genotypes and that the protein-binding Cd is consideredTherefore, adopting Cd-PSC strategy would help reducing the risk of Cd pollution in amaranth.
