• We created a combined system for treating oilfield polymer-flooding wastewater. • The system was composed of coagulation, hydrolysis acidification and DMBR. • Coagulant integrated with demulsifier dominated the removal of crude oil. • The DMBR proceed efficiently without serious membrane fouling.
