Identification of abnormal operating conditions and intelligent decision system

In earth pressure balance (EPB) shield construction, the “plastic flow state” is difficult to form using the soil dug in the capsule because it can cause three abnormal operating conditions, including occlusion, caking in the capsule, and spewing at the outlet of the dump device. These abnormal operating conditions can, in turn, trigger failure in tunneling, cutter-device damage, and even catastrophic incidents, such as ground settlement. This present paper effectively integrates the mechanism of abnormal operating conditions and knowledge of soil conditioning, and establishes a uniform model of identifying abnormal conditions and intelligent decision support system based on the belief rule-base system. The model maximizes knowledge in improving the soil, construction experience, and data to optimize the model online. Finally, a numerical simulation with specific construction data is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

长期以来,在拥挤场景中检测异常事件都是一项具有挑战性的任务。为解决这一问题,本文提出了一种名叫异常事件检测网络(AED-Net)的自监督框架,它由主成分分析网络(PCANet)和核主成分分析(kPCA)组成。该框架以不同场景的监控视频序列为原始数据,通过训练PCANet以提取人群情况的高级语义。kPCA可作为一种单类分类器,被用于识别场景中的异常事件。与目前流行的一些深度学习方法相比,该框架完全是自监督的,因为它只使用正常情况下的视频序列。通过对明尼苏达大学公共监测人类活动数据集(UMN数据集)和加州大学圣地亚哥分校监测异常数据集(UCSD数据集)进行全局和局部异常事件进行检测发现,与其他最先进的方法相比,该方法具有更好的等误差率(EER)和曲线下面积(AUC)。此外,通过增加局部响应归一化(LRN)层,我们对原有的AED-Net进行了改进。结果表明,该改进版在提高框架的泛化能力方面表现出更好的性能。

复杂结构中异常区域对波速成像影响的量化研究 Article

复杂结构中异常区域的探测是地下空间开发急需解决的技术瓶颈。人工开挖和天然因素导致的地质结构变化大大降低了传统勘探方法的效率。随着实时监测技术的出现,波速场精确成像使异常区域精准探测成为可能。但成像结果易受到多种因素的影响,尤其在小尺度上应用时。为此,我们采用被动声发射监测和主动超声波探测相结合的增强型三维成像技术,对包括初始速度模型、传感器排布、路径覆盖范围、事件的空间分布和定位误差等因素进行研究,共开展相关测试37组,获得了不同因素对成像精度的量化影响。测试结果表明该成像技术可有效应对复杂结构中的异常区域的精准探测,且在初始迭代参数优化后,异常区域的探测精度显著提高。

The dimension of the levator hiatus is a possible predictor of pelvic organ prolapse (POP). This retrospective study investigated 360 women who went to urogynecological clinic for pelvic floor discomfort. Levator hiatus dimensions were obtained by three-dimensional transperineal ultrasound and results were compared between women with and without significantly objective prolapse (International Continence Society POP quantification, grade 2 or higher). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were performed to determine valid screening index for detecting abnormal levator hiatus distensibility. Women with significantly objective prolapse had significantly higher levator hiatus dimensions than those without (all P <0.001). ROC curve analyses confirmed that hiatal area (HA) of 19.5 cm2 during Valsalva maneuver can be used as single-screening index for abnormal levator hiatus distensibility with sensitivity of 0.80 and specificity of 0.70. In this study, we used a two-step method and achieved higher sensibility (0.80 vs. 0.87) without reducing specificity (0.70 vs. 0.71) compared with a single-screening index method. As a result, we suggest that HA≥19.5 cm2 during Valsalva maneuver is an indicator of abnormal levator hiatus distensibility in Chinese women and that the two-step method has higher sensitivity in detecting abnormal distensibility.

基于多声源波速结构成像的岩体异常区域超前辨识方法 Article

异常区域超前辨识对于预防地下岩土工程灾害具有重要作用。为了满足地下工程高精度探测的需求,本文提出一种层析成像方法以辨识复杂岩体结构中的异常区域,结合了走时层析、阻尼最小二乘法和高斯滤波等技术。该方法克服了空洞区域辨识中速度差限制,减轻了迭代中孤立速度突变所带来的影响。开展了数值和室内实验,量化评估最短路径法(shortest-path method, SPM)、动态最短路径法(dynamic shortest-path method, DSPM)和快速扫描法(fast sweeping method, FSM)等正演模拟的识别精度和计算效率。结果表明,在数值和室内实验中DSPM和FSM均能清晰地辨识出异常区域。陕西震奥矿山现场应用结果证明了该方法可利用矿山开采中爆破、微震等多类声源对矿山内部未知结构进行波速场成像。本研究不仅实现了走时层析成像方法在异常区域识别中的应用,而且为地下岩土工程中潜在风险源的探测提供了新的思路。

Autoimmune diseases (ADs) increase the risk of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and contribute to poor prognosis of patients. However, the association between immunologic markers and clinical outcome has rarely been investigated. This study aims to analyze the prognostic value of pretreatment immunologic markers in newly diagnosed patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). We retrospectively reviewed the data on 502 patients with DLBCL treated in our institution from January 2013 to March 2018. Survival functions were estimated using Kaplan–Meier method and Cox regression model. The 3-year progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates were 70.2% and 80.9%, respectively, and the complete remission (CR) rate was 78.1%. Among the patients, those with multiple (≥3) abnormal immunologic markers had significantly shorter 3-year PFS (52.7% vs. 77.3%, P<0.001) and OS (68.5% vs. 85.8%, P=0.001) than those without multiple abnormal immunologic markers. Multivariate analysis revealed that the presence of multiple abnormal immunologic markers and the elevated serum levels of lactate dehydrogenase were the independent adverse prognostic factors for PFS (P=0.008, P<0.001) and OS (P=0.003, P<0.001). Meanwhile, advanced Ann Arbor stage was an independent adverse prognostic factor for PFS (P=0.001) and age>60 years for OS (P=0.014). In conclusion, the immunologic status was closely related to lymphoma progression, and this study provides new insights into the risk stratification of patients with DLBCL.
