Efficient controller area network data compression for automobile applications

摘要： Controller area networks (CANs) have been designed for multiplexing communication between electronic control units (ECUs) in vehicles and many high-level industrial control applications. When a CAN bus is overloaded by a large number of ECUs connected to it, both the waiting time and the error probability of the data transmission are increased. Thus, it is desirable to reduce the CAN frame length, since the duration of data transmission is proportional to the frame length. In this paper, we present a CAN message compression method to reduce the CAN frame length. Experimental results indicate that CAN transmission data can be compressed by up to 81.06% with the proposed method. By using an embedded test board, we show that 64-bit engine management system (EMS) CAN data compression can be performed within 0.16 ms; consequently, the proposed algorithm can be successfully used in automobile applications.

基于可观测节点信息的控制器局域网节点可靠性评估 Article

摘要：基于控制器局域网的总线技术广泛应用于网络化制造系统。网络作为系统的信息通道，其可靠性对系统的吞吐量、产品质量以及工作人员的安全至关重要。然而，由于节点内部状态的不可访问性，因此使用节点内置的错误计数器值直接评估控制器局域网节点的可靠性是难以进行的。本文提出一种新颖的控制器局域网节点可靠性评估方法，该方法使用节点脱离总线时间作为可靠性测度。基于网络错误日志和错误计数器值可访问的可观测节点信息，该方法可以估计网络中节点的发送错误计数器值。首先，本文基于分段马尔科夫链建立了估计节点发送错误计数器值的模型，该模型考虑了网络中错误分布的稀疏特性。其次，通过学习可观测节点的模型估计值和实际测量值之间的偏差，建立了贝叶斯网络以表述可观测节点的模型估计值更新机制。然后，将该更新机制应用到网络中发送错误计数器值不可访问的节点，完成其模型估计值的更新。最后，建立了节点可靠性评估方法以预测节点的脱离总线时间。为表明文中方法的有效性，进行了多组实验。实验结果表明由文中方法得到的估计值与实际观测值相一致。

摘要：控制器局域网（CAN）是一种广泛应用于各类工业场景的现场总线协议。为深入理解错误发生时的网络行为并优化网络控制系统设计，需分析CAN网络报文响应时间。本文在考虑错误的基础上，提出一种新颖的CAN网络报文延时分布分析方法，将复杂报文序列分解为典型报文模式和情形。

Distributed monitoring and diagnosis system for hydraulic system of construction machinery

摘要： This paper mainly presents a distributed monitoring and diagnosis system for the hydraulic system of construction machinery based on the controller area net (CAN) field bus. The hardware of the distributed condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system is designed. Its structure including the sensors, distributed data acquisition units, central signal processing unit, and CAN field bus is introduced. The software is also programmed. The general software design and its realization are studied in detail. The experiments and applications indicate that the distributed condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system can effectively realize its function of real-time online condition monitoring and fault diagnosis for the hydraulic system of construction machinery.

CAN总线时间触发机制的实现

摘要：

分析了CAN总线的时间触发机制，基于8052单片机和CAN控制器SJA1000设计了时间触发机制的实现方案，给出了网络中基本周期中可传输的最大消息数目及可调度分析方法。以汽车引擎控制系统为例进行的实验结果表明，利用CAN总线时间触发机制不仅可以有效地管理消息的传输，而且提高了总线带宽利用率。

Impact of wind power generating system integration on frequency stabilization in multi-area power systemwith fuzzy logic controller in deregulated environment

摘要： Among the available options for renewable energy integration in existing power system, wind power is being considered as one of the suited options for future electrical power generation. The major constraint of wind power generating system (WPGS) is that it does not provide inertial support because of power electronic converters between the grid and the WPGS to facilitate frequency stabilization. The proposed control strategy suggests a substantial contribution to system inertia in terms of short-term active power support in a two area restructured power system. The control scheme uses fuzzy logic based design and takes frequency deviation as input to provide quick active power support, which balances the drop in frequency and tie-line power during transient conditions. This paper presents a comprehensive study of the wind power impact with increasing wind power penetration on frequency stabilization in restructured power system scenario. Variation of load conditions are also analyzed in simulation studies for the same power system model with the proposed control scheme. Simulation results advocates the justification of control scheme over other schemes.

Can floor-area-ratio incentive promote low impact development in a highly urbanized area?

摘要： As an environmental friendly measure for surface runoff reduction, low impact development (LID) has been applied successfully in urban areas. However, due to high price of land and additional expense for LID construction in highly urbanized areas, the developers of real estate would not like to proceed LID exploitation. Floor area ratio (FAR) refers to “the ratio of a building’s total floor area to the size of the piece of land upon which it is built.” Increasing FAR indicates that the developers can construct higher buildings and earn more money. By means of awarding FAR, the developers may be willing to practice LID construction. In this study, a new residential district is selected as a case study to analyze the trade-off between the runoff reduction goal achieving by LID practices and the incentive of awarding FAR to promote LID construction. The System for Urban Stormwater Treatment and Analysis IntegratioN (SUSTAIN) model is applied to simulate the runoff reduction under various LID designs and then derive the Pareto-optimal solutions to achieve urban runoff reduction goals based on cost efficiency. The results indicates that the maximum surface runoff reduction is 20.5%. Under the extremity scenarios, the government has options to award FAR of 0.028, 0.038 and 0.047 and the net benefits developers gain are 0 CNY, one million CNY and two million CNY, respectively. The results provide a LID construction guideline related to awarding FAR, which supports incentive policy making for promoting LID practices in the highly urbanized areas.

EAP-FAST在公共无线局域网安全接入控制中的研究及实现

Cisco公司于2004年提出基于隧道的灵活认证协议（EAP-FAST）以替代存在安全漏洞的LEAP认证协议，该协议具有安全性和易部署性的特点。文章论述了基于802.1x协议的EAP-FAST认证协议及其实现技术，并在公共无线局域网(PWLAN)综合实验平台上实现了EAP-FAST认证的客户端、认证者、认证服务器端功能。

Simulation model based on Monte Carlo method for traffic assignment in local area road network

摘要： For a local area road network, the available traffic data of traveling are the flow volumes in the key intersections, not the complete OD matrix. Considering the circumstance characteristic and the data availability of a local area road network, a new model for traffic assignment based on Monte Carlo simulation of intersection turning movement is provided in this paper. For good stability in temporal sequence, turning ratio is adopted as the important parameter of this model. The formulation for local area road network assignment problems is proposed on the assumption of random turning behavior. The traffic assignment model based on the Monte Carlo method has been used in traffic analysis for an actual urban road network. The results comparing surveying traffic flow data and determining flow data by the previous model verify the applicability and validity of the proposed methodology.

Performance investigation of artificial intelligence based controller for three phase four leg shunt

摘要： In this paper, the choice of power quality compensator is a DSTATCOM which constitutes a three phase four leg voltage source converter (VSC) with a DC capacitor. The control strategy proposed for the DSTATCOM is a neural network based one cycle control (OCC). This control strategy involves neural network block, digital circuits and linear elements, which eliminates the sensors required for sensing the load current and coupling inductor current in addition to the multiplier employed in the conventional method. The calculation of harmonic and reactive currents for the reference current generation is also eliminated, thus minimizing the complexity in the control strategy. The control strategy mitigates harmonic/reactive currents, ensures balanced and sinusoidal source current from the supply mains that are nearly in phase with the supply voltage, compensates neutral current, and maintains voltage across the capacitor under unbalanced source and load conditions. The performance of the DSTATCOM with the proposed artificial neural network (ANN) controllers is validated and investigated through simulations using Matlab software. The simulation results prove the efficacy of the proposed neural network based control strategy under varying source and load conditions.

Optimal design analysis of a tubular heat exchanger network with extended surfaces using multi-objective

摘要： The present work aims to investigate the influence of extended surfaces (fins) on the multi-objective optimization of a tubular heat exchanger network (THEN). An increase in the heat transfer area using various extended surfaces (fins) to enhance the performance of the heat exchanger was used while considering the effectiveness and total heat transfer area as two objective functions. In addition to the simulation of simple fins, a new set of fins, called constructal fins, was designed based on the constructal theory. Tubular heat exchanger network design parameters were chosen as optimization variables, and optimization results were achieved in such a way as to enhance the effectiveness and decrease the total heat transfer area. The results show the importance of constructal fins in improving the objective functions of heat exchangers. For instance, the simple fins case enhances the effectiveness by up to 5.3% compared to that without fins (usual heat exchanger) while using constructal fins, in addition to the 7% increment of effectiveness, reduces the total heat transfer area by 9.47%. In order to optimize the heat exchanger, the heat transfer rate and cold fluid temperature must increase, and at the same time, the hot exiting fluid temperature should decrease at the same constant total heat transfer area, which is higher in the constructal fins case. Finally, optimized design variables were studied for different cases, and the effects of various fins were reported.

基于神经网络与遗传算法耦合的煤与瓦斯突出区域预测研究

摘要：

煤与瓦斯突出是煤矿地下开采过程中的一种动力现象，剧烈的动力效应可导致矿井重大的财产损失和人员伤亡，因此，实现煤与瓦斯突出的有效预测对煤炭工业安全生产具有重要意义。文章以煤与瓦斯突出的自然条件及地质构造特征为基础，针对神经网络易陷入局部极小而引起预测指标权值分布不合理的缺陷，提出了基于神经网络和遗传算法耦合的煤与瓦斯突出区域预测模型，并进行了实例验证。研究结果证明了该模型的合理性，对煤矿实现煤与瓦斯突出区域的预测具有较大的指导价值。

基于自适应网络模糊推理系统的移动机器人导航控制器 Research Article

摘要：在障碍物高度杂乱的未知环境中自主导航是移动机器人研究的一个基本问题。提出一种基于自适应网络模糊推理系统（ANFIS）的差分驱动移动机器人导航控制器，用超声波传感器捕捉移动机器人周围的环境信息。设计了一个基于模糊逻辑的导航控制器，用于获取数据集训练ANFIS控制器。在移动机器人导航过程中，考虑到环境噪声对传感器读数的影响，将加性高斯白噪声添加到传感器读数中并反馈给已训练的ANFIS控制器。在3种不同环境下对移动机器人进行导航，评价该导航控制器的鲁棒性。通过与已有移动机器人导航控制器（如神经网络、模糊逻辑）比较行程长度、行程效率、弯曲能量，验证ANFIS控制器性能。仿真结果表明，与其他控制器相比，ANFIS控制器具有更好性能，能够在不同环境中顺利导航且不与障碍物发生碰撞。
