摘要: During financial crisis, companies constantly need free cash flows to efficiently react to any uncertainty, thus ensuring solvency. Working capital requirement (WCR) has been recognized as a key factor for releasing tied up cash in companies. However, in literatures related to lot-sizing problem, WCR has only been studied in the single-level supply chain context. In this paper, we initially adopt WCR model for a multi-level case. A two-level (supplier–customer) model is established on the basis of the classic multi-level lot-sizing model integrated with WCR financing cost. To tackle this problem, we propose sequential and centralized approaches to solve the two-level case with a serial chain structure. The ZIO (Zero Inventory Ordering) property is further confirmed valid in both cases. This property allows us to establish a dynamic programming-based algorithm, which solves the problem in O(T ). Finally, numerical tests show differences in optimal plans obtained by both approaches and the influence of varying delays in payment on the WCR of both actors.

Optimal Method of Capacitated Lot-Sizing Planning in Manufacturing Systems

This paper analyzes the capacitated lot-sizing problem considering an individual machine s production capacity using a two-layer hierarchical method to minimize the sum of the dynamic inventory cost and the overtime penalty cost. The genetic algorithm, the parameter linear programming method, and a heuristic method were used in the developed method. The method uses the genetic operator to define the lot-sizing matrix (the first layer), linear programming to determine eachmachine' s schedule (the second layer) according to the lot-sizing matrix, and the heuristic method to verify the feasibility of the solutions by adjusting them to meet the constraint requirements. The scheduling of machines in a press shop demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm. The result shows that the algorithm is convergent.

摘要: In this paper, the genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to optimize a grid connected solar photovoltaic (PV)-wind-battery hybrid system using a novel energy filter algorithm. The main objective of this paper is to minimize the total cost of the hybrid system, while maintaining its reliability. Along with the reliability constraint, some of the important parameters, such as full utilization of complementary nature of PV and wind systems, fluctuations of power injected into the grid and the battery’s state of charge (SOC), have also been considered for the effective sizing of the hybrid system. A novel energy filter algorithm for smoothing the power injected into the grid has been proposed. To validate the proposed method, a detailed case study has been conducted. The results of the case study for different cases, with and without employing the energy filter algorithm, have been presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed sizing strategy.

一种流水车间批量调度的高效计算三阶段优化方法 Research Articles

摘要: 在工件含批量生产任务情况下如何进行最佳生产调度是一个重要的生产计划问题。通常将批量工件划分为子批处理(称为分批优化)。若子批数较大,则会大大增加工件完成时间的计算复杂性。现有研究未能考虑此类计算时间问题。本文考虑可变子批、准备时间以及子批批量约束(传输子批批量受传输设备容量限制),提出一种求解n个工件、m台机器流水车间分批优化调度方法。所提方法包含3个阶段:初始批量划分、基于生产周期/总流程时间指标快速评价法的工件排序优化、分批传输方案调整。为验证3阶段优化方法的有效性,采用5个标准数据集进行测试。实验结果表明,所提方法能节省大量计算时间,尤其对大规模问题能提供更优解。

Sizing of hybrid PMSG-PV system for battery charging of electric vehicles

摘要: The number of electric vehicles are increasing in the society as they are considered as zero emission vehicles and also because conventional fuels are becoming expensive. Additional electrical power should be produced to meet the energy requirement of this increase in electric vehicle population. To use the existing grid infrastructure without any failure, installing distributed generator at secondary distribution network is essential. In this work, sizing of wind-driven permanent magnet synchronous generator—photovoltaic hybrid distributed generating system has been attempted to meet the energy demand of electric vehicles of a particular residential area. Different feasible combinations for wind generator capacity and photovoltaic capacity are obtained to satisfy the additional energy requirement. Results are analyzed based on energy, financial payback periods and daily power profile of the hybrid system. Based on this analysis, the sizes of wind generator and photovoltaic array have been chosen to meet the energy demand of electric vehicles of that particular residential locality.

可再生能源(renewable energy source, RES)被认为是可靠的、绿色的发电资源。光伏(photovoltaic, PV)和风力涡轮机(wind turbine, WT)被用来为偏远地区提供电力。在独立环境中,确定混合型RES的最佳容量是一个非常重要的挑战。过去提出的元启发式算法依赖于特定算法的参数来获得最优解。本文提出了一种Jaya混合算法和一种基于“教与学”的优化算法(teaching–learning-based optimization, TLBO),称为JLBO算法,其用于确定PV-WT-电池混合系统的最优单位容量,从而以最小的年度总成本(total annual cost, TAC)满足消费者的负载需求。系统的可靠性由最大允许的供电损失率(maximum allowable loss of power supply probability, LPSPmax)来衡量。比较JLBO算法与原Jaya、TLBO和遗传算法的结果,结果表明,在TAC方面,PV-WT-电池混合系统是最经济的方案。与PV-电池和WT-电池系统相比,该系统可以为所有提出的LPSPmax值都提供一个经济有效的解决方案。

尽管城市交通电气化快速发展,但电池电动公交车(EB)车队的系统规划和管理进展却较为落后。本研究首先综述了影响电池电动系统的基本问题,包括充电站部署、电池尺寸、公交车调度和生命周期分析。目前,EB系统的规划和运行是按顺序进行的,公交车调度是在公交车队和基础设施部署完毕后进行的,这导致了资源利用率低和资源浪费。对此,本文提出了混合整数规划模型整合充电站部署和公交车队管理,以尽可能低的生命周期成本(LCC),包括所有权、运营、维护和排放费用,缩小最佳规划与运营之间的差距。引入了分支定价算法,以减少寻找最佳解决方案所需的计算工作量。本研究还通过分析真实案
例,与目前的公交运营策略和充电站布局相比,一条公交线路的LCC优化后可显著降低30.4%。提出的方法不仅可以进行生命周期分析,还可以为交通部门和运营商提供可靠的充电桩部署及单线和多线的公交调度计划,这两者都是未来具有高电气化普及率的交通系统中决策支持的关键要求,此研究也有助于推动可持续交通的发展。
