Identification of Critical Success Factors for Construction Innovation: From the Perspective of Strategic

摘要: Nowadays, China is in the period of industrialization, modernization and urbanization. The investment to the infrastructure is increasing which requires the support from construction innovation. Construction innovation is project-based cooperative innovation. The innovation based cooperation not only focuses inside the boundary of project, but also emphasizes the long-term strategic cooperation among the participants of innovation network. Therefore, it is significant to explore the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of construction innovation based on the viewpoint of strategic cooperation. This paper first presents the definition and characteristics of construction innovation. By tracking the international frontiers, the authors studied a great number of literatures on the influence elements of construction innovation. Combining the effort of literature review and expert interview, this present paper identified 20 CSFs for construction innovation, which is verified and perfected by a case study in the end. The findings of this research will be of great importance for guiding the practice of construction innovation in China.

cells redirected against tumor-specific antigen glycoforms: can low-sugar antigens guarantee a sweet success

摘要: Immune-based therapies have experienced a pronounced breakthrough in the past decades as they acquired multiple US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals for various indications. To date, six chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapies have been permitted for the treatment of certain patients with relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancies. However, several clinical trials of solid tumor CAR-T therapies were prematurely terminated, or they reported life-threatening treatment-related damages to healthy tissues. The simultaneous expression of target antigens by healthy organs and tumor cells is partly responsible for such toxicities. Alongside targeting tumor-specific antigens, targeting the aberrantly glycosylated glycoforms of tumor-associated antigens can also minimize the off-tumor effects of CAR-T therapies. Tn, T, and sialyl-Tn antigens have been reported to be involved in tumor progression and metastasis, and their expression results from the dysregulation of a series of glycosyltransferases and the endoplasmic reticulum protein chaperone, Cosmc. Moreover, these glycoforms have been associated with various types of cancers, including prostate, breast, colon, gastric, and lung cancers. Here, we discuss how underglycosylated antigens emerge and then detail the latest advances in the development of CAR-T-based immunotherapies that target some of such antigens.

静电防护工程的研究与进展

摘要:

静电放电已成为信息化时代的公害之一,它不仅是危险场所的点火源、引爆源,而且是信息化设备的电磁干扰源。文章在论述静电放电危害、静电放电的特点、作用机理和形成静电危害基本条件的同时,报道了我国在静电检测与静电防护工程研究方面的成果与进展,提出了“信号自屏蔽-电荷耦合”测试原理、真实静电感度测试方法、织物电位测试方法和人体静电动态电位测试技术,建立了电火工品静电发火数理模型、“静电危险场所”等级划分标准和分类防护措施、预测静电危害的逻辑关系图和静电防护的一般原则与对策。文章介绍了部分实验数据和该领域当前研究的热点问题及发展趋势。

Identifying the driving factors of successful megaproject construction management: Findings from three Chinese cases

摘要: The construction of megaprojects has always resulted in extensive and long-term impacts on the society. However, the performance of megaproject management is poor, and improving it remains an urgent and necessary issue. Although many studies on megaproject success have been conducted, existing studies on the driving factors of successful megaproject construction are rather limited. Therefore, this study aims to systematically explore the key factors that can lead to successful megaproject construction management based on three cases: The Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway, the Three Gorges Dam, and the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge. Mixed research methods, such as literature review, case studies, and expert interviews, were used in this study. Consequently, 11 driving factors, namely, government support, public support, accumulation and application of technology and experience, development and innovation of technology, innovation and application of management system, organizational mode and structure, top management support, project culture, megaproject citizenship behavior, corporate reputation, and fulfillment of social responsibilities, were identified and grouped into five categories, namely, project environment, construction capabilities, organization, positive culture and behavior, and requirements for sustainable development. The contributions of this study lie in two aspects. First, the driving factors of successful megaproject construction are identified to deepen the understanding of industrial practitioners, assist them in focusing on key factors, and aid them in effectively managing megaprojects. Second, researchers could use the identified driving factors in conducting further empirical studies and apply them in future projects to enhance their chances of success.

Reducing biliary complications in adult-to-adult living donor liver transplantation using right lobe graft: experience of 124 cases

摘要: The aim of this paper is to summarize our experience of using right lobe liver grafts to reduce biliary complications in adult-to-adult (A-A) living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). From January 2002 to October 2007, 124 adult patients underwent living donor liver transplantation using right lobe grafts at the West China Hospital, Sichuan University Medical School, China. There was no death in all donors. Biliary reconstruction for 178 hepatic duct orifices from 124 donor grafts was performed which included 106 reconstructions of duct-to-duct anastomoses and 72 cholangiojejunostomy. Nine recipients had biliary complications including six bile leakages (four from the anastomotic site and two from the cut surface of the liver graft) and three biliary strictures. With the improved techniques for biliary reconstruction, we have achieved good results in 124 recipients of A-A LDLT. We ascribe our success to the introduction of microsurgical techniques and the use of fixed operators which help in decreasing the biliary complications of LDLT.

为了确保高的可用性,在重大工程实践中往往采用具有容错结构的计算机双系统。双系统处理得到两个结果的异同性,历来是研究双系统容错的技术重点和难点。文章在双系统可用性分析、结果判错与选择、以及双工切换技术方面都有突破性的进展,并在重点工程中得以实现,取得显著效果。

A novel method for reconstruction in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy: an experience of 13 cases

摘要: Laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD) is a challenging operation to general surgeon. Up to date, only about 135 cases have been reported, 16 cases in China, 119 cases outside China. The reconstruction of alimentary system is a key procedure to ensure success of the whole surgery. It is worth investigating the methods of reconstruction in LPD. A retrospective study is made to investigate the methods of reconstruction in LPD. We analyze 13 cases of LPD performed in our center. Child s or modified Child s method was used to make the reconstruction in our practice. We tried three methods to make the anastomosis of pancreaticojejunostomy, including end-to-end dunking binding pancreaticojejunostomy in two cases, end-to-end dunking pancreaticojejunostomy using interrupted suture in two cases, and duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreaticojejunostomy in nine cases. The clinical data was collected and analyzed. Three of four patients, who underwent end-to-end pancreaticojejunostomy, had a little pancreatic leakage, especially in the first case. None of other nine patients, who underwent duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreaticojejunostomy, was detected to have pancreatic leakage, and the operating time of these nine cases was less than other four cases. Duct-to-jejunal end-to-side embedding pancreaticojejunostomy is a safe and efficient method of reconstruction in LPD.

摘要: In this paper the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project is taken as a case to analyze supplier development in infrastructure mega-projects. Compared with manufacturing industry, the characteristics of supplier development in infrastructure mega-projects is analyzed in term of development motives, supplier selection, quality management, production mode, owner participation and risks. The critical factors influencing the construction supplier development are identified, which include incentives, collaboration, future market, trust and bilateral communication. Furthermore, focusing on the incentives for the supplier’s product quality and production capacity improvement, decision-making framework models are proposed to design the incentive mechanisms.
