Industrial Greening of the Dongting Lake Eco-economic Zone

摘要： Extensive industrial development is a major challenge to ecological civilization construction. Industrial energy consumption and environmental pollution reduction are desperately needed. The Dongting Lake district, located in Wuhan and the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) pilot zone, bears the responsibility to ensure national food security and watershed ecological security, and it is an urgent need for the Dongting Lake district to accept the ecological transition of industries. On the analysis of the industrial development status and problems of the Dongting Lake district, some proposals based on the characteristics and reality of the district are pointed out, such as industrial cooperation, proper space layout, ecological innovation, industrial structure upgrading, building of ecological parks, clean production, elimination of backward production capacity, heavy metals governance and so on, as to develop the industrial ecology of the Dongting Lake district.

Digitalization for supply chain resilience and robustness: The roles of collaboration and formal contracts

摘要： Black swan events such as the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak cause substantial supply chain disruption risks to modern companies. In today’s turbulent and complex business environment, supply chain resilience and robustness as two critical capabilities for firms to cope with disruptions have won substantial attention from both the academia and industry. Accordingly, this study intends to explore how digitalization helps build supply chain resilience and robustness. Adopting organizational information processing theory, it proposes the mediating effect of supply chain collaboration and the moderating effect of formal contracts. Using survey data of Chinese manufacturing firms, the study applied structural equation modelling to test the research model. Results show that digitalization has a direct effect on supply chain resilience, and supply chain collaboration can directly facilitate both resilience and robustness. Our study also indicates a complementary mediating effect of supply chain collaboration on the relationship between digitalization and supply chain resilience and an indirect-only mediation effect on the relationship between digitalization and supply chain robustness. Findings reveal the differential roles of digitalization as a technical factor and supply chain collaboration as an organizational factor in managing supply chain disruptions. Paradoxically, formal contracts enhance the relationship between digitalization and supply chain resilience but weaken the relationship between supply chain collaboration and supply chain resilience. The validation of moderating effects determines the boundary conditions of digitalization and supply chain collaboration and provides insights into governing supply chain partners’ behavior. Overall, this study enhances the understanding on how to build a resilient and robust supply chain.

Challenges of human–machine collaboration in risky decision-making

摘要： The purpose of this paper is to delineate the research challenges of human–machine collaboration in risky decision-making. Technological advances in machine intelligence have enabled a growing number of applications in human–machine collaborative decision-making. Therefore, it is desirable to achieve superior performance by fully leveraging human and machine capabilities. In risky decision-making, a human decision-maker is vulnerable to cognitive biases when judging the possible outcomes of a risky event, whereas a machine decision-maker cannot handle new and dynamic contexts with incomplete information well. We first summarize features of risky decision-making and possible biases of human decision-makers therein. Then, we argue the necessity and urgency of advancing human–machine collaboration in risky decision-making. Afterward, we review the literature on human–machine collaboration in a general decision context, from the perspectives of human–machine organization, relationship, and collaboration. Lastly, we propose challenges of enhancing human–machine communication and teamwork in risky decision-making, followed by future research avenues.

Diffusion of municipal wastewater treatment technologies in China: a collaboration network perspective

摘要： Real wastewater treatment technology diffusion process was investigated. The research is based on a dataset of 3136 municipal WWTPs and 4634 organizations. A new metric was proposed to measure the importance of a project in diffusion. Important projects usually involve central organizations in collaboration. Organizations become more central by participating in less important projects. The diffusion of municipal wastewater treatment technology is vital for urban environment in developing countries. China has built more than 3000 municipal wastewater treatment plants in the past three decades, which is a good chance to understand how technologies diffused in reality. We used a data-driven approach to explore the relationship between the diffusion of wastewater treatment technologies and collaborations between organizations. A database of 3136 municipal wastewater treatment plants and 4634 collaborating organizations was built and transformed into networks for analysis. We have found that: 1) the diffusion networks are assortative, and the patterns of diffusion vary across technologies; while the collaboration networks are fragmented, and have an assortativity around zero since the 2000s. 2) Important projects in technology diffusion usually involve central organizations in collaboration networks, but organizations become more central in collaboration by doing circumstantial projects in diffusion. 3) The importance of projects in diffusion can be predicted with a Random Forest model at a good accuracy and precision level. Our findings provide a quantitative understanding of the technology diffusion processes, which could be used for water-relevant policy-making and business decisions.

Study on affecting factors of collaborative product development based on collaboration hierarchy model

摘要： Aiming at the levels of collaborative degree in web-based product development, a collaboration hierarchy model of this product development is developed in this paper. Based on the model, the affecting factors on collaboration levels are analyzed systematically from many aspects, such as technology, organization and business. A gap analysis method is studied in detail, and is applied in a real project. The application shows that it can solve the diverse problems of collaborative product development effectively, and help enterprises find out the critical factors that affect the collaboration.

Evaluation of ecosystem health for regional development in the southwestern Beijing, China

摘要： Ecosystem health assessment is one of the most important issues in regional ecological quality and safety studies. It also has a great significance to ecological conservation and regional development. This study focused on assessing the health status of forest, agriculture and urban ecosystems in the southwestern Beijing, China, including the Fangshan and Fengtai Districts. Based on field surveys and data collection, an assessment index system containing the vigor, organization and resilience factors was developed to measure the ecosystem health. Each index was scored from 1 to 5, representing five levels that contribute to the whole ecosystem health. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to measure the weights of each index and three factors, and thus an overall score for a certain ecosystem was calculated. The results show that the forest ecosystem in the Fangshan District had higher health value than the Fengtai District, while the urban ecosystem had a slightly lower value in the Fangshan District than the Fengtai District. Both districts show lower resilience values in forest and urban ecosystems. Maintaining the ecosystem health will definitely benefit the long-term development of two districts. This study suggested that an approach for assessing the regional ecosystem health could be further developed to address spatial and synergy relationships between ecosystems and the three health factors.

民用支线飞机发展浅析

高科技、高投入、高风险、长周期的航空产品是一个国家工业水平和经济发达程度的重要标志之一。由于种种历史原因，我国民用航空产业发展相对缓慢。在西部大开发方针指引下，充分发挥陕西航空工业的优势，集中全行业资源和人才，发挥"哑铃型"研制模式，两头集中在陕西，并组成符合市场经济规律的股份公司，有利于民用支线飞机尽早提供给用户，成为21世纪初中国航空人应肩负的历史使命。文章浅析了如何发展支线飞机，以引起各方重视。

Self-organizing method for collaboration in multi-robot system on basis of balance principle

摘要： By analyzing the operation characteristics of two subtasks that have resource dependency on each other, this paper demonstrates the impact of progress relation between the two subtasks on the whole task’s progress, and then puts forward a self-organizing principle called balance principle that keeps the individual profit between robots equal. Furthermore, an algorithm is designed for adjusting subtask selection on the basis of this principle. Simulation shows the validity of the algorithm on self-organizing task allocation in a multi-robot system.

Cutting CO emissions through demand side regulation: Implications from multi-regional input–output linear

摘要： This study combines multi-regional input–output (MRIO) model with linear programming (LP) model to explore economic structure adjustment strategies for the reduction of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions. A particular feature of this study is the identification of the optimal regulation sequence of final products in various regions to reduce CO₂ emissions with the minimum loss in gross domestic product (GDP). By using China’s MRIO tables 2017 with 28 regions and 42 economic sectors, results show that reduction in final demand leads to simultaneous reductions in GDP and CO₂ emissions. Nevertheless, certain demand side regulation strategy can be adopted to lower CO₂ emissions at the smallest loss of economic growth. Several key final products, such as metallurgy, nonmetal, metal, and chemical products, should first be regulated to reduce CO₂ emissions at the minimum loss in GDP. Most of these key products concentrate in the coastal developed regions in China. The proposed MRIO–LP model considers the inter-relationship among various sectors and regions, and can aid policy makers in designing effective policy for industrial structure adjustment at the regional level to achieve the national environmental and economic targets.

Estimation of regional physical imports and exports of EW-MFA in China using monetary input-output tables

摘要： Given the statistical gaps in material flow among provinces in China, a method was introduced to estimate regional physical imports and exports (RPIE), which includes international and interregional imports/exports. This method uses provincial monetary input-output tables (MIOT) and international trade statistics. A coefficient matrix representing correlations between monetary value and physical mass for years 2000–2009 was obtained based on a detailed commodity classification and 22 material production sectors in MIOT. With the coefficient matrix as reference, RPIE was measured. Pilot calculation of both regional physical trade balance and domestic material consumption, as well as a brief analysis of these methods, were conducted using 2002 data.

Cerebral regional and network characteristics in asthma patients: a resting-state fMRI study

摘要： Asthma is a serious health problem that involves not only the respiratory system but also the central nervous system. Previous studies identified either regional or network alterations in patients with asthma, but inconsistent results were obtained. A key question remains unclear: are the regional and neural network deficits related or are they two independent characteristics in asthma? Answering this question is the aim of this study. By collecting resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging from 39 patients with asthma and 40 matched health controls, brain functional measures including regional activity (amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations) and neural network function (degree centrality (DC) and functional connectivity) were calculated to systematically characterize the functional alterations. Patients exhibited regional abnormities in the left angular gyrus, right precuneus, and inferior temporal gyrus within the default mode network. Network abnormalities involved both the sensorimotor network and visual network with key regions including the superior frontal gyrus and occipital lobes. Altered DC in the lingual gyrus was correlated with the degree of airway obstruction. This study elucidated different patterns of regional and network changes, thereby suggesting that the two parameters reflect different brain characteristics of asthma. These findings provide evidence for further understanding the potential cerebral alterations in the pathophysiology of asthma.

因地制宜推进区域能源革命的战略思考和建议

摘要：

能源与经济社会、生态环境协调发展始终是我国面对的重大议题之一。虽然各地区在能源与经济社会、生态环境的协调发展上取得了一些成绩，但区域发展差异显著，区域内存在不同类型的矛盾和问题。因此，必须因地制宜推进能源革命。本文根据中国工程院重大咨询项目“推进能源生产和消费革命战略研究（三期）”主要成果，阐述了以区域能源革命为抓手协调推进能源革命与区域发展的重大意义，提出了因地制宜推进能源革命的战略思路，重点针对京津冀、长江三角洲、珠江三角洲、老工业基地（东北及山西）、中部地区、能源富集地区（新疆及能源“金三角”地区）、西南地区等区域提出了加强能源革命顶层设计，明确我国能源中长期发展战略目标和重点任务；明确区域能源革命的功能定位，形成统筹协调推进区域能源革命的良好格局；加强区域能源革命试点，通过改革办法加快探索形成推动能源革命的高效机制；明确区域能源革命实施责任和考核监督机制，确保区域能源革命取得预期效果等战略举措及对策建议。

基于嵌入协作的多方法协作优化方法

摘要：

提出一种基于嵌入协作的多方法协作优化方法。算法采用嵌入方式组织各个优化方法之间的协作，利用优化方法之间的协作效应提高优化性能。进行遗传算法、模式搜索法和Powell法嵌入协作组成的多方法协作优化方法设计。计算实例表明，基于嵌入协作的多方法协作优化方法取得了优于单个优化方法的全局最优特性。
