Abstract:
On July 31, 2020, the Beidou-3 global satellite navigation system was officially launched, which is the third mature global satellite navigation system after GPS and GLONASS. Beidou satellite navigation system consists of three parts: space segment, ground segment and user segment. It can provide global positioning, navigation and time service, global short message communication and international search and rescue services, and provide satellite based enhancement, ground-based enhancement, precise single point positioning and regional short message communication services for the Asia Pacific region. It has been successfully applied to transportation, marine fisheries, hydrological monitoring, geographic mapping, power dispatching, disaster relief and mitigation, weather forecasting Emergency search and rescue and other fields have produced significant economic and social benefits.
