Abstract

OH played a key role in heterogeneous Fenton-like catalytic oxidation of organic pollutants.

Doping Cu into BiFeO₃ promoted the generation of Fe²⁺ and then facilitated the effective formation of •OH.

Cu-doped BiFeO₃ exhibited higher catalytic performance for phenol degradation than non-doped BiFeO₃.
