Abstract

The background, design approach, system engineering, launch results and technical & development characteristics of LM - 3 series launch vehicles are presented, and the development of launch vehicles in the future is prospected. It is indicated that with advanced performance, these launch vehicles are the main force of commercial heavy lift in China.
