On the cover

The Strategy Research of China's Engineering Science and Technology 2035 is a project jointly organizedt by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the National Natural Science Foundation. It aims to build a high-level national engineering science and technology think tank, build a platform for China's science and technology planning, and develop science and technology planning suitable for China's national conditions. Looking forward to the level of science and technology in 2035, through the clear top-level design of each project team and the guarantee of two major operation systems, the executive line system ensures the efficiency of strategic research, and the technical line ensures the quality of strategic research, so that it can achieve the expected results. Based on the present and planning for the future, the project combines the national demand with the feasibility prediction of the development of engineering science and technology, and puts forward a scientific and feasible development strategy of engineering science and technology (The cover picture is the "Harmony" High-Speed Train).
