Reversible data hiding using a transformer predictor and an adaptive embedding strategy Research Article

Abstract: In the field of (RDH), designing a high-precision predictor to reduce the embedding distortion and developing an effective embedding strategy to minimize the distortion caused by embedding information are the two most critical aspects. In this paper, we propose a new RDH method, including a predictor based on a and a novel embedding strategy with multiple embedding rules. In the predictor part, we first design a -based predictor. Then, we propose an image division method to divide the image into four parts, which can use more pixels as context. Compared with other predictors, the -based predictor can extend the range of pixels for prediction from neighboring pixels to global ones, making it more accurate in reducing the embedding distortion. In the embedding strategy part, we first propose a complexity measurement with pixels in the target blocks. Then, we develop an improved prediction error ordering rule. Finally, we provide an embedding strategy including multiple embedding rules for the first time. The proposed RDH method can effectively reduce the distortion and provide satisfactory results in improving the visual quality of data-hidden images, and experimental results show that the performance of our RDH method is leading the field.

Development and Creations of Measuring Instrument Transformers and Their Testing Equipment

Abstract:

The development and creation of measuring instrument transformers and their testing equipment in improving accuracy and performance since the end of fifties is described. They include the development in error compensation for instrument transformers, high accuracy instrument transformers with a current booster or voltage booster, current comparators and two-stage instrument transformers, the comparator-type calibrators and its testing instruments, digital calibrators, etc. Future work in this field, will involve the development of instrument transformers with small secondary current and voltage, application of computers and microprocessors in instrument transformers and their testing equipment, etc.

Abstract: The DC distribution system is an important development direction of the distribution system, which can improve the reliability and the quality of the power supply, and support the new energy, the energy storage, the electric vehicles, and the flexible access of AC and DC loads to grid. To realize the demonstration application of the DC distribution technology, China’s first demonstration project of the medium voltage DC distribution network will be built in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province to support the construction of the city energy internet. First, this paper analyzes the demand of the DC distribution network project, and puts forward the construction content and construction target. Then, it designs and analyzes the electrical connection mode, system operation mode, and startup and shutdown mode of the DC distribution network, and proposes the overall project construction plan. Finally, it conducts the specific project design and analysis, which mainly include the selection of equipment such as inverters, DC transformers and DC circuit breakers, the design and analysis of the DC control and protection system, the design and analysis of the over-voltage protection and the configuration scheme of the lightning arrester, and analysis of the system transient characteristics. The design and analysis of the engineering program is a combination of China’s distribution network engineering practice and technical characteristics, which lays a solid foundation for the advancement of the DC power distribution technology in China, and has reference value and demonstration effect for the design and construction of other projects.
