Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2009, Volume 3, Issue 1,   Pages 105-110 doi: 10.1007/s11709-009-0014-5

Abstract: A new form of geodetic coordinate system based on geodesic coordinates instead of geodetic longitudeThe vertical and horizontal geodesic coordinates measured with length were defined as coordinate parameters, but the two families of coordinate curves were still meridians and parallel circles.fundamental form on the ellipsoidal surface and its three coefficients were deduced by the geodesic coordinateis convenient and accurate enough to operate on the ellipsoidal surface in this new form of geodetic coordinate

Dynamics Modeling of Spacecraft with Composite Flexible Structures

Qu Guangji,Cheng Daosheng

Strategic Study of CAE 1999, Volume 1, Issue 2,   Pages 52-56

Abstract:

It is a conventional method to build dynamic models of flexible spacecraft with hybrid coordinates. This kind of modeling has gotten a great success both in theory and practice to spacecraft with rigid main body and large flexible appendages. However, modern spacecraft are becoming much bigger and more and more complicated. Their developing trend in structure is: 1. Rigid main body is attached by flexible module, to which kinds of large flexible appendages are fixed. This kind of spacecraft is a complicated structure system composed of rigid main body and composite flexible structures; 2. The flexible multi-modules main body, taking on a lower stiffness, and several kinds of large flexible appendages attached to it make the whole spacecraft as an all-flexible structure system.

It is impossible to build the dynamic equations of a spacecraft by its flexible modes, when some of its flexible appendages are not fixed to the rigid main body directly. In order to take full advantage of the achievement of spacecraft dynamics of rigid main body with flexible appendages, this paper makes dynamic models of composite flexible structure spacecraft by hybrid coordinates with taking into consideration the composite transition of linking point between flexible bodies. The corresponding computing software DASFA 2.0 has been used in space engineering design and analysis.

Strategic Study of CAE 2014, Volume 16, Issue 6,   Pages 21-26

Abstract:

Using cone scanning method, microwave radiometer of HY-2 satellite measures the SST and the atmosphere of the earth. This article represents one geolocation method applied to the microwave radiometer of HY-2 satellite according to the geometry model. The image of microwave radiometer was geolocationed with this method, and the result was evaluated at last.

Theoretical Study of Color Gamut of Higher Plant Leaves

Cheng Xiaofang,Dong Jinyi,Fan Xueliang,Ding Jinlei

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 12,   Pages 66-69

Abstract:

The chlorophylls and cartotenoids are the main pigments in leaves of the higher plants, which giveing the color of leaves. Based on the CIE1931 chromaticity coordinates of the chlorophylls and cartotenoids obtained from their classical absorption spectrum and the law of additive color mixing, the theoretical color gamut of higher plant leaves is determined. The theoretical prediction agrees well with the experimental results.

Constant-gain nonlinear adaptive observers revisited: an application to chemostat systems Research Articles

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 1,   Pages 1-140 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000368

Abstract: This study deals with constant-gain for nonlinear systems, for which relatively few solutions are available for some particular cases. We introduce an asymptotic observer of constant gain for nonlinear systems that have linear input. This allows the observer design to be formulated within the linear matrix inequality paradigm provided that a strictly positive real condition between the input disturbance and the output is fulfilled. The proposed observer is then applied to a large class of nonlinear dynamical systems that are widely used in the fermentation process, cell cultures, medicine, etc. In fact, under standard practical assumptions, the necessary change of the state coordinates exists, allowing use of the constant-gain observer. Finally, the developed theory is illustrated by estimating pollutant concentration in a wastewater treatment facility.
