Abstract: However, the analgesia efficacy of tramadol, particularly its minimum effective dose (MED), is not clearThe aim of this study is to find MED of tramadol for postoperative analgesia in infants. The successful analgesia probability of tramadol 0.4 mg?kg-1?In phase 3, the successful analgesia probability for dose 0.35 mg?kg-1?for surgeries considered to cause moderate-to-severe postoperative pain in infants if used as the sole

Abstract:

Perioperative parecoxib administration reduces postoperative pain, opioid consumption, and adversePrimary outcomes were postoperative pain scores and adverse events.pain scores; lower incidence rates of postoperative nausea, vomiting, and agitation; higher early (1h) postoperative sedation scores; and lower agitation scores.scores, lower incidence rates of postoperative nausea and vomiting, and lower early (1 h) postoperative

Role of stair-climbing test in predicting postoperative cardiopulmonary complications in elderly patients

Pei-Tu REN BM, Bao-Chun LU MM, Zhi-Liang CHEN MM, Hong FU MM,

Frontiers of Medicine 2010, Volume 4, Issue 1,   Pages 77-81 doi: 10.1007/s11684-010-0005-x

Abstract: One hundred and twenty-six patients above 80 years old with biliary diseases undergoing operations in Shaoxing People’s Hospital from Jan. 2002 to Jan. 2007 were analyzed retrospectively. All patients performed a preoperative stair-climbing test, and the risks for cardiopulmonary €complications were evaluated with pair-matching and linear correlations analysis between stair-climbing height (h) and left ventricular ejective factor (EF), forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV). There was a significant difference in the incidence of cardiopulmonary complications among different stair-climbing heights. Stair-climbing heights were positively related with EF, FVC and FEV. This suggests that the stair-climbing test is an effective and simple method for predicting cardiopulmonary complications in elderly patients with biliary diseases.

Frontiers of Medicine 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 465-472 doi: 10.1007/s11684-016-0482-7

Abstract: studies have demonstrated the effects of different afferent fibers on electroacupuncture (EA)-induced analgesiaHowever, contributions of functional receptors expressed on afferent fibers to the EA analgesia remainand transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) receptors in EA-induced segmental and systemic analgesiaThus, segmental analgesia of EA with lower intensity is partially mediated by ASIC3 receptor on Aβ-fiber, whereas systemic analgesia induced by EA with higher intensity is more likely induced by TRPV1

Analysis on municipal identification of male sterilization postoperative complication of Chongqing

Li Chuanhai,Ma Mingfu,Yang Hao and Zhou Shuping

Strategic Study of CAE 2014, Volume 16, Issue 5,   Pages 110-112

Abstract: The results show that:In the 56 applicants for municipal identification of male sterilization postoperativecomplication,10 cases were eligible for postoperative complications, accounting for 25.2 %;for the self- reported symptoms,25 cases were not coincident with male sterilization postoperative complications, accounting for 44.64 %;the cases coincident with male sterilization postoperative complications wereTherefore, the identification of male sterilization postoperative complication should be strictly implemented
