The Development of Petrochemical Industry and Catalytic Technology

Abstract:

Catalytic technology is the basis of petrochemical industry. In this thesis, the technological progress of petrochemical enterprises promoted by the advance of catalytic technology was discussed, with examples .Meanwhile, petrochemical industry also raises a series of new subjects for the development of catalytic technology : the technical revamping of existing plants require catalyst with higher activity ; the cleaning production process requires environmental friendly catalyst; the product structure adjustment requires excellent adaptability of catalyst; saving energy and lowering consumption and cost, as well as strengthening product competitiveness require continuous reduction of catalyst production cost and improvement of catalyst life, conversion rate, selectivity etc.

Abstract:

The chemical, metallurgical and material industries re-process natural resources to produce materials, chemicals, and secondary energies necessary for human life, thereby providing an important material basis for social development and economic construction. This paper reviews the recognized disruptive technologies in the history of chemical, metallurgical, and material industries, and analyzes the impact of such technologies on people's daily lives, the progress of human society, and the disruption of traditional technologies. According to vision driving, problem orientation, and the world technology development trend, we forecast the future sustainable science development models, which are efficient, safe, energy-saving, and environment-friendly, in the chemical, metallurgical, and material industries, and predict the impacts of possible disruptive technologies on national economy and people’s livelihood. The slurry bed hydro-conversion technology, the metallurgical manufacturing process function expansion technology, grapheme, and other disruptive technologies are proposed. Finally, relevant policies and suggestions are put forward for the cultivation, development, and environment of disruptive technologies.

Developing coal chemical industry and ensuring national energy security

Abstract:

This article proposes the way of thinking and viewpoints for implementing the strategy of coal replacing oil in view of actual situation of energy structure in China by means of explanation and analysis on theory and practice, expounding the necessity and significance of implementing the strategy of coal chemical industry replacing oil chemical industry from several respects, summarizes the technical process and market situation of several main coal chemical industry products, and makes comparison and analysis on their competitiveness. Based on this, this article explicitly proposes the detailed ideas and suggestions for implementing the strategy of coal replacing oil. At the same time, the article makes analysis and explanation on several focus issues such as water resource and carbon emission that attract much attention during the development of coal chemical industry, and proposes its own viewpoints.

Study on the trinity strategy of coal chemical industry park

Abstract:

The National Eleventh Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of China clearly points out that China will vigorously develop coal chemical industry, promote in-depth processing and utilization of coal, develop circular economy, conserve resource, promote clean production and reduce the impact of development on environment and ecology. This paper firstly discussed the trinity strategy of "Coal mining – Coal chemical industry – Coal chemical industry equipment manufacturing" , then discussed the strategic meaning, feasibility and economic benefit of the trinity strategy,finally proposed a kind of circular economy development mode of coal chemical industry park, including the implementation steps of trinity strategy, the operation and management mode of implementing circular economic industry park.

Abstract:

The universe of methodology for predicting the damage to structural materials and remaining life of process equipment is a branch of subject of a newly developing discipline - FORECASTING. The technique for predicting the damage to structural materials and remaining life of process equipment based on the use of experience of multi-discipline is a comprehensive technology in the field of modern technical management of facilities. Some contents of this technique have been selected among the subjects of emerging technologies to be developed over this century.

In this study, a series of new techniques for predicting the damage to structural materials and remaining life of porcess equipment have been developed, which are based on principles of approximate and plausible reasonings for uncertain parameters of fuzziness by fuzzy set theory; of quantitative metallographic technique by methods of stereoscopy and visual treatment technique.The technique proposed is of great significances for ensuring safe, high efficiency and long period operations in modernized large-scale and high parameter facilities of chemical, petrochemical, nuclear and electric power plants.

The main contributions of the technique proposed in this work are on engineering applications which provide major benefits in economics and society. The technique will be a bright future in use.

Discussion of project management pattern of modern new coal chemical engineering construction

Based on the analysis of the strengths and weeknesses of the traditional self-supporting management mode, international PMC and IPMT pattern, the speciality of the modern new coal chemical engineering construction and the fact of China Coal Group's coal chemical engineering construction, the effective management mode for China Coal Group's coal chemical engineering contruction is dicussed and a proposal for project management is suggested.
