Abstract

Based on the evaluate of the resource availability and combustion characteristic of cassava stems in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, this paper focused on the feasibility of pelletizing and commercial value of cassava stems as a biomass feedstock. Cassava stems were proved a promising biofuel, and can be produced as pellets/briquettes, then production of electricity, heat and pellets/briquettes.
