Environment Isotope Method to Investigate the Bypass Abutment Seepage Flow in Xin'anjiang Right Dam

Chen Jiansheng,Liu Jiangang,Dong Haizhou,Chen Liang

Strategic Study of CAE 2004, Volume 6, Issue 1,   Pages 57-63

Abstract:

Environmental isotope 2H, 18O and 3H, temperature and electric conductivity had been used to analyze bypass abutment seepage flow of Xin'anjiang right dam. Environmental isotope data on the right dam indicate the existence of bypass seepage flow in rock. The seepage water from the drainage gallery boreholes is not only from mountain precipitation but also from reservoir water that leak bypassing the right abutment. The reason of uplift cell 3E1-1 increasing is the result of the leakage from the fault F0. There is no seepage from reservoir to the grouted gallery through fault F1 under No. 6 and No. 7 dam section. Given the tritium is about 19.54 TU, the leakage water of G7-4 borehole comes from local precipitation of right dam. Part of reservoir water is proved to exist in the observation wells of right dam abutment. The data of environment also testified the result from the artificial tracer method.

The Research on Improving the Ability to Pass Over the Three Gorges Shiplock by Optimizing Hydraulic

Cao Guangrong,Hu Ya’an and Gao Xiong

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 12,   Pages 75-80

Abstract: This paper discusses the fluctuating character of the water in Chamber 1 when No.2 chamber head is operating as the first one under the four-steps shiplock operating mode, expatiates the forming principle of the fluctuation, analyzes the impact on the water fluctuation in Chamber 1 when No.2 chamber head is operating as the first chamber head, puts forward the valve opening pattern satisfying the safety demand when Chamber 1 is waiting, and tests the berthing condition of the ships in Chamber 1 by the experiment with real ships. The facts show that during the course of the Three-Gorges shiplock being fulfilled under the four-steps shiplock operating mode, the ways transferring the ships downriver from near frusta to chamber 1 can increase passing ability of about three ships per day, producing huge navigation benefit.

GPU-based multi-slice per pass algorithm in interactive volume illumination rendering Research Articles

Dening Luo, Yi Lin, Jianwei Zhang,onexinoneyi@hotmail.com,Yilin@scu.edu.cn,zhangjianwei@scu.edu.cn

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 8,   Pages 1092-1103 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000214

Abstract: plays a significant role in medical imaging and engineering applications. To obtain an improved three-dimensional shape perception of , realistic has been considerably studied in recent years. However, the calculation overhead associated with interactive is unusually high, and the solvability of the problem is adversely affected when the data size and algorithm complexity are increased. In this study, a scalable and GPU-based (MSPP) algorithm is proposed which can quickly generate global volume shadow and achieve a translucent effect based on the transfer function, so as to improve perception of the shape and depth of . In our real-world data tests, MSPP significantly outperforms some complex volume shadow algorithms without losing the illumination effects, for example, half-angle slicing. Furthermore, the MSPP can be easily integrated into the parallel rendering frameworks based on sort-first or sort-last algorithms to accelerate . In addition, its scalable slice-based framework can be combined with several traditional frameworks.
