Study on a kind of new strengthening buffer operators and numerical simulations

Cui Jie,Dang Yaoguo,Liu Sifeng,Xie Naiming

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 2,   Pages 108-112

Abstract:

According to the theory of prior using of new information, based on the research of already existed strengthening buffer operators, some new strengthening buffer operators are established. Meanwhile, their characters are studied. The flaw that the existing strengthening buffer operators can,t fully use new information of the data sequence is overcame. The problem that there are some contradictions between quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis in pretreatment for vibration data sequences is resolved effectively. An example simulation shows, compared with the existing strengthening buffer operators, the kind of new strengthening buffer operators increases the forecast precision of GM(1,1) remarkably.

Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 9,   Pages 27-31

Abstract:

A sort of continued fuzzy operators is given. Proceeded from applied point of view, relation between the triangle norm operators most in use and the continued fuzzy operators is analyzed. A new fuzzy synthetic evaluation criterion and method are given. The new fuzzy synthetic evaluation criterion and method have some important characteristics as follows: using directly untransformed data; avoiding loss of original information; avoiding increase in interference information; bing very easy to tell which result is better in different papers.

Reactive power deployment and cost benefit analysis in DNO operated distribution electricity markets with D-STATCOM

Atma Ram GUPTA,Ashwani KUMAR

Frontiers in Energy 2019, Volume 13, Issue 1,   Pages 86-98 doi: 10.1007/s11708-017-0456-8

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze unbalanced radial distribution systems (UBRDS) with the distribution static compensator (D-STATCOM). The main objectives of this paper are D-STATCOM allocation in UBRDS with an objective of providing reactive power support to enhance voltage profile and reduce line losses of the distribution network, determination of optimal D-STATCOM rating subjected to minimization of total cost, and impact of D-STATCOM placement on improving power factor and savings in cost of energy loss. The analysis is conducted on a large industrial load model with light, medium and high loading scenarios. Further, the impact of load growth is also considered for better planning of the power distribution system. The results are obtained on standard 25-bus UBRDS to check the feasibility of the proposed methodology.

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 5,   Pages 84-87

Abstract:

The segmentation for moving pictures is important in content-based video encoding and video retrieval. The method of moving object segmentation is proposed with spatio-temporal threshold information. The method does well in functional agility. Its alterability depends on real conditions. The experiments show that the method can get a better result with less runtime.

Interactive DE for solving combined security environmental economic dispatch considering FACTS technology

Belkacem MAHDAD, K. SRAIRI, B. TAREK

Frontiers in Energy 2013, Volume 7, Issue 4,   Pages 429-447 doi: 10.1007/s11708-013-0270-x

Abstract: This paper presents an efficient interactive differential evolution (IDE) to solve the multi-objective security environmental/economic dispatch (SEED) problem considering multi shunt flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) devices. Two sub problems are proposed. The first one is related to the active power planning to minimize the combined total fuel cost and emissions, while the second is a reactive power planning (RPP) using multi shunt FACTS device based static VAR compensator (SVC) installed at specified buses to make fine corrections to the voltage deviation, voltage phase profiles and reactive power violation. The migration operation inspired from biogeography-based optimization (BBO) algorithm is newly introduced in the proposed approach, thereby effectively exploring and exploiting promising regions in a space search by creating dynamically new efficient partitions. This new mechanism based migration between individuals from different subsystems makes the initial partitions to react more by changing experiences. To validate the robustness of the proposed approach, the proposed algorithm is tested on the Algerian 59-bus electrical network and on a large system, 40 generating units considering valve-point loading effect. Comparison of the results with recent global optimization methods show the superiority of the proposed IDE approach and confirm its potential for solving practical optimal power flow in terms of solution quality and convergence characteristics.

A novel context-aware RPL algorithm based on a triangle module operator Research Article

Yanan Cao, Hao Yuan,caoyanan@tjnu.edu.cn,yuanhao19880520@163.com

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 12,   Pages 1551-1684 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000658

Abstract: For the use in low-power and lossy networks (LLNs) under complex and harsh communication conditions, the routing protocol for LLNs (RPL) standardized by the Internet Engineering Task Force is specially designed. To improve the performance of LLNs, we propose a novel RPL algorithm based on a (CAR-TMO). A novel composite routing metric (CA-RM) is designed, which synchronously evaluates the residual energy index, buffer occupancy ratio of a node, expected transmission count (ETX), delay, and hop count from a candidate parent to the root. CA-RM considers the residual energy index and buffer occupancy ratio of the candidate parent and its preferred parent in a recursive manner to reduce the effect of upstream parents, since farther paths are considered. CA-RM comprehensively uses the sum, mean, and standard deviation values of ETX and delay of links in a path to ensure a better performance. Moreover, in CAR-TMO, the of each routing metric is designed. Then, a comprehensive is constructed based on a , the of each routing metric, and a comprehensive objective function. A novel mechanism for calculating the node rank and the mechanisms for preferred parent selection are proposed. Finally, theoretical analysis and simulation results show that CAR-TMO outperforms several state-of-the-art RPL algorithms in terms of the packet delivery ratio and energy efficiency.
