A new era of electricity is dawning that combines decarbonization of the grid with the extensive electrification of all sectors of society. A grid as smart as the Internet is needed to harness the full potential of renewables, accommodate technology disruptions, embrace the rise of prosumers, and seamlessly integrate microgrids. Papers are invited on all topics related to Smart Grid and Energy Internet with the following focus:
• Overview of global or regional development of Smart Grid and Energy Internet
• Breakthrough in a specific area of Smart Grid and Energy Internet research
• Challenges, problems, and science and technology forecast of Smart Grid and Energy Internet
• Technical, economical, environmental and societal assessment of trial or demonstration projects
All submitted papers must be clearly written in excellent English and contain only original work, which has not been published by or is currently under review for any other journals or conferences.
