催化技术是石化工业发展的技术基础，本文用燕山石化公司技术进步的实例及发展中面临的问题，论述了催化技术的发展对推动石化企业技术进步的作用；同时石化工业也对催化技术的发展提出了一系列新课题：老装置的技术改造要求开发更多高性能的催化剂；清洁生产工艺要求开发环境友好催化剂；调整产品结构要求催化剂有良好的适应性；节能降耗、降低成本、增强产品竞争力要求不断降低催化剂的生产成本和改进催化剂寿命、转化率、选择性等性能。

Catalytic technology is the basis of petrochemical industry. In this thesis, the technological progress of petrochemical enterprises promoted by the advance of catalytic technology was discussed, with examples .Meanwhile, petrochemical industry also raises a series of new subjects for the development of catalytic technology ： the technical revamping of existing plants require catalyst with higher activity ; the cleaning production process requires environmental friendly catalyst; the product structure adjustment requires excellent adaptability of catalyst; saving energy and lowering consumption and cost, as well as strengthening product competitiveness require continuous reduction of catalyst production cost and improvement of catalyst life, conversion rate, selectivity etc.
