A Dialogue With the Ancient and Reflection on the Interpretation of History of Bian Que and Traditional

Fu Youfeng

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 12,   Pages 7-16

Abstract:

Based on the description of epidemic diseases in the chapter of “The Story of Bian Que” in Records of Historian, the author has analyzed and explored the truthfulness of its background data and the possibility of the plague spreading at that time from both macro and micro angles. The symptoms of plague including chills and fever, the digestive symptoms and the symptoms in central nerve system made great influence on the formation of some doctrines in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) such as exopathic heat disease doctrine, internal injury of spleen and stomach doctrine and epidemic febrile disease doctrine. The course of exogenous febrile disease was similar to that of the plague, thus the theory of six meridians was formed. According to above phenomena, the author has explored the effect on the initial medical theory, primitive religion and culture due to the spreading of epidemic diseases from the angles of epidemiology, the theory of images and figures, complicated thought ways depending, as well as archaeological studies. Then the hypothesis of medicine originated from epidemic diseases was proposed. The author also put forward some opinions on the relationship between epidemic diseases spreading and traditional education of TCM, sustained development of TCM education, as well as the integration of TCM and WM.

Summarization of Acupotomology System

Zhu Hanzhang

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 7,   Pages 1-15

Abstract:

Under the guidance of the basic theories of TCM, acupotomology adopts the outcomes of modem science and technology including western medicine, and brings forward a new medical theory. Acupotomology is the fruit of 30-year researches and has formed a new complete theoretical system. It is one of the successful examples which have realized modernization in the basic theories of TCM. It include four basic theories and six parts. The four basic theories include the theory of closed operation, the etiology and pathology of chronic soft issue injury, the new etiology of hyperosteogeny, the etiology of spinal area and the theory of the electrophysiological conducting system existed in the human body. The six parts are the physiopathology of acupotomology, the imageology of acupotomology, the manipulation of acupotomology, the diagnostics of acupotomology, the therapeutics of acupotomology and the nursing theory of acupotomology. With many doctors, clinical practice and reseachers' deep reseach, the theories of acupotomology go on deepening and the technique is improving. The field of indication increases gradually and it has formed a unique medical subject and opens up a new road for solving various medical difficulties.

Summarization of prevention and removing technology against terrorist attacks explosion

Fang Xiang,Gao Zhenru,Zhou Shouqiang,Guo Tao

Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 5,   Pages 80-83

Abstract:

Bomb attack is the cruelest and the most sanguinary terrorist activity, and it is hard to keep away. Prevention and removing technology is the most direct means against terrorist attack explosion. It contains the equipment and means of explosive search, removing and prevention. Nowadays, there has been great progress in prevention and removing technology against terrorist attack explosion. However, there are still several technical problems. This paper analyzes the pattern of terrorist attack activity, the equipment and shielding technology of explosive search and removing. It studies the technical means of explosive detection, prevention and removing, and puts forward research idea directly to the limitation of current existing equipment and technology.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2024, Volume 25, Issue 1,   Pages 121-134 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2300296

Abstract: (CLS) is the task of generating a summary in a target language from a document in a source language. Recently, end-to-end CLS models have achieved impressive results using large-scale, high-quality datasets typically constructed by translating monolingual summary corpora into CLS corpora. However, due to the limited performance of translation models, translation noise can seriously degrade the performance of these models. In this paper, we propose a approach to address low-resource CLS based on . We introduce the source language summary as a gold signal to alleviate the impact of the translated noisy target summary. Specifically, we design a reinforcement reward by calculating the and between the source language summary and the generated target language summary, and combine it with cross-entropy loss to optimize the CLS model. To validate the performance of our proposed model, we construct Chinese-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Chinese CLS datasets. Experimental results show that our proposed model outperforms the baselines in terms of both the ROUGE score and BERTScore.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 5,   Pages 790-800 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000414

Abstract: Automated analysis of sports is challenging due to variations in cameras, replay speed, illumination conditions, editing effects, game structure, genre, etc. To address these challenges, we propose an effective framework based on and for field sports videos. Accurate is mandatory to better structure the input video for further processing, i.e., key events or . Therefore, we present a based method for . Then we analyze each shot for and specifically detect the successive batch of logo transition frames that identify the replay segments from the sports videos. For this purpose, we propose local octa-pattern features to represent video frames and train the for classification as replay or non-replay frames. The proposed framework is robust to variations in cameras, replay speed, shot speed, illumination conditions, game structure, sports genre, broadcasters, logo designs and placement, frame transitions, and editing effects. The performance of our framework is evaluated on a dataset containing diverse YouTube sports videos of soccer, baseball, and cricket. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework can reliably be used for and to summarize field sports videos.

The Practice of Meta-synthesis——The Research Method Summarization of “Developing Strategies of Chinese

Qian Zhenye,Yang Guangyao,Wei Desen,Cheng Lingzhu

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 12,   Pages 10-15

Abstract:

Should China develop manned space program? How to advance this program? What are the strategies and technical approaches of the manned space program? These are typical decision making issues in soft science area which involve a lot of factors including political, economic, military, social, scientific and technical factors. This paper introduces the research on these significant issues. The research was guided by the systematic methodology “meta-syntheses from qualitative hypotheses to quantitative validation” promoted by the famous scientist Qian Xuesen. The research tried to answer the question that as a developing country why China needs to develop manned space program. And further more, it put forward suggestions on the developing strategies and the technical approaches of Chinese manned space program, of which the main point was to use the spacecraft program.
