Top-coal caving difficulty degree and rational mining method were analyzedby theoretical method on the basis of the 4th coal-seam condition of Pingshuo Mining area.For improving top-coal caving degree, the parameters of full-mechanized caving mining face were obtainedPractice showed that safe and high-efficient mining with high recovery ratio would be realized by lengtheningmining face and adding mining height in shallow buried hard coal-seam with hard roof.
