Preparation, with graphene, of novel biomimetic self-healing microcapsules with high thermal stability and conductivity

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering   Pages 1188-1198 doi: 10.1007/s11709-023-0027-5

Abstract: microcapsules’ initial thermal decomposition temperature is appropriately high, so that the stability of the microcapsuleThe proportion of graphene in the microcapsule shell can regulate the microcapsule’s heat resistance

Luthfi Muhammad MAULUDIN, Chahmi OUCIF

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2019, Volume 13, Issue 2,   Pages 353-363 doi: 10.1007/s11709-018-0469-3

Abstract: The effects of interfacial strength on fractured microcapsule are investigated numerically. The interaction between crack and microcapsule embedded in mortar matrix is modeled based on cohesiveSpecial attention is given to the effects of cohesive fracture on the microcapsule interface, namelyfracture strength, on the load carrying capacity and fracture probability of the microcapsule.material under tension increases as interfacial strength of microcapsule shell increases.
