Strategic Study of CAE 2015, Volume 17, Issue 1,   Pages 67-73

Abstract:

The mature peptide domain of insulin-like growth factor-I from Platichthys stellatus were amplifiedfragment was subcloned into the prokaryotic expression vector pET-28a to successfully construct IGF-I/and biologically active IGF-I fusion protein was obtained. The present results would be helpful for better understanding the roles of IGF-I in growth regulationand development of high effective additive for growth promotion of Platichthys stellatus.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2012, Volume 6, Issue 2,   Pages 121-131 doi: 10.1007/s11709-012-0151-0

Abstract: The expanded distinct element method (EDEM) was used to investigate the crack growth in rock-like materialsUniaxial compression experiments were also performed with the artificial rock-like samples to verifythat the EDEM model with the tensile-shear failure criterion has strong capabilities for modeling the growthResearch results demonstrated that sample failure primarily resulted from the growth of single cracksform of tensile wing cracks and shear secondary cracks) and the coalescence of two cracks due to the growth

Frontiers of Medicine 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 25-30 doi: 10.1007/s11684-013-0244-8

Abstract:

Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. It actually functions as endocrine hormones but does not regulate cell growth and differentiation.FGF21 acts on multiple tissue to coordinate carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, including enhancing insulinMoreover, FGF21 also plays important roles in some physiological processes, such as fasting and feeding, growth
