Yanfeng LI, Jun LI

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2017, Volume 4, Issue 4,   Pages 399-407 doi: 10.15302/J-FEM-2017041

Abstract: This paper proposes an improved multi-class dynamic network traffic flow propagation model with a considerationof physical queues. To characterize this phenomenon by numerical methods, the improved model is directly formulated in discreteNumerical examples are developed to illustrate the unrealistic flows of the existing model and the performanceof the improved model.

ENHANCING RAINFALL-RUNOFF POLLUTION MODELING BY INCORPORATION OF NEGLECTED PHYSICAL PROCESSES

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2023, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 553-565 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2023519

Abstract: The wash-off model has advantages in modeling rainfall-runoff pollution due to the inclusion of two keyphysical processes, build-up and wash-off.The enhanced wash-off model was validated in a typical rural-residential area. The results showed that the model performed better than the established wash-off model and the commonly-usedThe enhanced model can provide deeper insights into non-point pollution mitigation.

Digital twin-assisted gearbox dynamic model updating toward fault diagnosis

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2023, Volume 18, Issue 2, doi: 10.1007/s11465-023-0748-0

Abstract: One of the core challenges of intelligent fault diagnosis is that the diagnosis model requires numerousGenerating training data using a virtual model is a potential solution for addressing such a problem,First, a virtual model is established to mirror the vibration response of a physical entity using a dynamicThen, based on the signal similarity indicator, a physical–virtual signal interaction method is proposed, and optimization algorithm are applied to increase the efficiency during the model updating.
