Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2007, Volume 1, Issue 4,   Pages 377-380 doi: 10.1007/s11705-007-0068-7

Abstract: CdSe nanocrystals (NCs) have great application prospects in various fields due to their novel propertiestoxic materials such as --octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) are used in the popular method to synthesize CdSeBased on this, a new low-cost, environment-friendly and safe solvent was introduced in the synthesis of CdSeThe prepared CdSe NCs were characterized by ultraviolet-visible spectra (UV-Vis), photoluminescence (is a good substitute for the solvent used in the classic route and achieves a greener synthesis of CdSe

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2017, Volume 11, Issue 6, doi: 10.1007/s11783-017-0948-0

Abstract: In this work, the CdSe QDs synthesis conditions in organisms were reconstructed by using a simplifiedCdSe QDs were synthesized with glutathione (GSH) and L-cysteine (Cys) respectively.Compared with Cys at the same molar concentration, the CdSe QDs synthesized by GSH had a larger and broaderchemical calculations indicate that the stronger Cd2+ binding capacity of GSH contributed a lot to the CdSe
