Pretreatment method of lignocellulosic materials for bioethanol production

Jin Shengying and Zhang Li’an

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 11,   Pages 82-88

Abstract:

The principle and practice of main pretreatment methods were reviewed starting with an introduction of the necessary of pretreatment of lignocellulosic materials. In the end, the authors brought forward some suggestions for the development of pretreatment techniques for the biethanol production from lignocellulosic materials. It is hoped that this paper would lend some help to the conversion of lignocellulosic materials to the biethanol production.
