Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 3,   Pages 488-501 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000560

Abstract: A radar task method based on was designed to solve the problem of resource management for to detect hypersonic-glide vehicles (HGVs). The mathematical model of the radar task and the motion and detection models of HGVs are described in detail. The target threat of an HGV is divided into maneuver, speed, azimuth, and distance threats. In the radar task method based on IT2FLS, the maneuver factor, speed, azimuth difference, distance, and initial priority are input variables. The radar task priority is the output variable. To reduce the number of fuzzy rules and avoid rule explosion, an IT2FLS with a hierarchical structure was designed. Finally, the feasibility of the task method was verified by simulations. Simulation results showed that the method based on IT2FLS has a higher precise tracking rate, mean initial priority, and target threat degree, and a shorter offset time.

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 7,   Pages 104-111

Abstract:

In networked control systems(NCSs),a fuzzy logic modulator, which is based on mapping relationship of one-dimensional input and one-dimensional output,is designed for the dynamic management of control systems' bandwidth. By adjusting a nonlinear offset factor in the fuzzy logic modulator, the control performance and requirement of bandwidth can be further improved. Moreover, the upper and lower bound of the assignable bandwidth, which guarantee the system's stability, are evaluated in terms of linear matrix inequalities and the restrained resource conditions. Finally, normalizable criterions of the quality of control (QoC) and requirement of bandwidth (RoB) are also defined, which can estimate the performance of the whole networked control systems. On those criterions, the proposed algorithm, namely fuzzy bandwidth management (FBM) , and traditional fixed bandwidth allocation (FBA) are compared. The results of simulation highlight that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve performance and save more bandwidth of control loop than the other one.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 5,   Pages 615-766 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000069

Abstract: (NoC) is an infrastructure providing a communication platform to multiprocessor chips. Furthermore, the wormhole-switching method, which shares resources, was used to increase its efficiency; however, this can lead to congestion. Moreover, dealing with this congestion consumes more energy and correspondingly leads to increase in power consumption. Furthermore, consuming more power results in more heat and increases thermal fluctuations that lessen the life span of the infrastructures and, more importantly, the network’s performance. Given these complications, providing a method that controls congestion is a significant design challenge. In this paper, a is presented to enhance the NoC’s performance when facing congestion. To avoid congestion, the proposed algorithm employs the occupied input buffer and the total occupied buffers of the neighboring nodes along with the maximum possible path diversity with minimal path length from instant neighbors to the destination as the selection parameters. To enhance the path selection function, the uncertainty of the algorithm is used. As a result, the average delay, power consumption, and maximum delay are reduced by 14.88%, 7.98%, and 19.39%, respectively. Additionally, the proposed method enhances the throughput and the total number of packets received by 14.9% and 11.59%, respectively. To show the significance, the proposed algorithm is examined using transpose traffic patterns, and the average delay is improved by 15.3%. The average delay is reduced by 3.8% in TMPEG-4 (treble MPEG-4), 36.6% in QPIP (quadruplicate PIP), and 20.9% in TVOPD (treble VOPD).

Xiao-yu ZHANG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 12,   Pages 1331-1343 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500318

Abstract: Direct adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control design for discrete non-affine nonlinear systems is presented for trajectory tracking problems with disturbance. To obtain adaptiveness and eliminate chattering of sliding mode control, a dynamic fuzzy logical system is used to implement an equivalent control, in which the parameters are self-tuned online. Stability of the sliding mode control is validated using the Lyapunov analysis theory. The overall system is adaptive, asymptotically stable, and chattering-free. A numerical simulation and an application to a robotic arm with two degrees of freedom further verify the good performance of the control design.

Guo-jiang SHEN,Yong-yao YANG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 9,   Pages 907-918 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500227

Abstract: We propose a novel dynamic traffic signal coordination method that takes account of the special traffic flow characteristics of urban arterial roads. The core of this method includes a control area division module and a signal coordination control module. Firstly, we analyze and model the influences of segment distance, traffic flow density, and signal cycle time on the correlation degree between two neighboring intersections. Then, we propose a fuzzy computing method to estimate the correlation degree based on a hierarchical structure and a method to divide the control area of urban arterial roads into subareas based on correlation degrees. Subarea coordination control arithmetic is used to calculate the public cycle time of the control subarea, up-run offset and down-run offset of the section, and the split of each intersection. An application of the method in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China shows that the method can reduce the average travel time and the average stop rate effectively.

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 7,   Pages 47-53

Abstract:

In this paper, incomplete fuzzy information system is studied. In order to deal with it by rough set theory, fuzzy compatible relation and fuzzy rough approximation are defined by logic function. Furthermore, fuzzy covering on universe is proposed, three different operations on the coverings are formed and then some significant results are gained. Besides, with the two new definitions of fuzzy rough entropies, uncertain factors could be effectively measured, some important relationships between the varieties of uncertain factors and the strength of those entropies are discussed carefully. Finally, knowledge dependency in rough set theory is transformed to fuzzy knowledge dependency in the incomplete fuzzy information system. A new method for measuring the strength of partial fuzzy knowledge dependency is proposed. Some immediate theorems are proved.

Rule-base Self-extraction and Simplification for Fuzzy Systems

Guo Haixiang,Liu Tao,Zhu Kejun

Strategic Study of CAE 2004, Volume 6, Issue 10,   Pages 52-58

Abstract:

In this paper, a fuzzy model algorithm for a rule-base self-extraction and simplification is introduced. The method consistes of three steps: The first step is to classify the out-in space by constructing a fuzzy partition validity index, then the optimal number of dusters and, hence, the optimal number of rules are obtained; The second step is to construct the initial fuzzy system based on the optimal number of rules and neural networks; The third step is to get the function of computing similarity of fuzzy sets by fuzzy similarity analysis method. The similar fuzzy sets are merged to create a common fuzzy set in rule base based on threshold value. Thus a fuzzy system with interpretability and simplicity is obtained. At last, the fuzzy rules of productivity factor of China is extracted by the fuzzy system.

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 8,   Pages 47-50

Abstract:

While quadrilateral membership function is used as general membership function, Stone-Weierstrass theorem is utilized to prove that fuzzy systems with arbitrary membership functions are capable of approximating any continuous function on a compact set. It is a generalization for theory of basic fuzzy systems approximating any continuous non-linear function. The performance of fuzzy systems to approximate random non-linear function is the theoretical basis of fuzzy system's application in system identification.

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 12,   Pages 45-48

Abstract:

Many cryptographic properties of m - valued logical functions are often described by their Chrestenson cyclic spectrums and auto-correlation functions, so Chrestenson cyclic spectrums and autocorrelation functions play important roles in properties and construct ions for m-valued logical functions. In this paper, in residue class ring Zm, the concept of the strict avalanche criterion of order k of m-valued logical functions is presented. Then, by applying probabilistic thought and methods, the rule that a w-valued logical function fulfills the SAC of lower order if it fulfills the SAC of higher order is proved. Finally, by Chrestenson cyclic spectrums, a necessary and sufficient condition on a m-valued logical function is given, which fulfills the strict avalanche criterion of order k.

Abstract:

Based on the fact that risk assessment of environmental pollution accidents among factories is a multi-criteria and multi-stage process, and is of relativity and fuzziness, the fuzzy rank theory is developed and applied to solve such ranking problems by means of the fuzzy weighted distance, membership degree and the extensive Minimum Square Criterion. Furthermore, the methodology is applied to assess the risk of potential pollution accidents among four important chemical factories in Dalian, and the results are more reasonable than those obtained by the Index Method.
