Abstract: The maximum ocean depth so far reported is about 11 000 m, and is located in the in the Western Pacific Ocean. The hybrid unmanned underwater vehicle, Haidou, is developed to perform scientific survey at the deepest parts of the Earth oceans. For vehicles working at the , acoustic positioning is the most effective and popular method. The 11 000 m class acoustic positioning system is relatively massive and complex, and it requires specialized research vessels equipped with compatible acoustic instruments. As a compact testbed platform, it is impractical for Haidou to carry an LBL/USBL beacon with its large volume and weight. During the descent to about 11 000 m, horizontal drift could not be eliminated because of the hydrodynamics and uncertain ocean currents in the sea trials. The maximum depth recorded by Haidou is 10 905 m, and determining the precise location of the deepest point is challenging. With the bathymetric map produced by a multibeam sonar, the (TERCOM) method is adopted for terrain matching localization. TERCOM is stable in providing an accurate position because of its insensitivity to the initial position errors. The final matching results show the best estimate of location in the reference terrain map.

Strategic Study of CAE 2014, Volume 16, Issue 7,   Pages 17-22

Abstract:

Herein, we report a new concept, constricted interfacial polymerization to study the formation of polyamide thin film composite membranes. Delayed diffusion of protected polyfunctional amine reacts with acyl chloride to produce a transition surface structure. Hydrophilic macromolecules and amphiphilic template induced interfacial polymerization reacted in a limited zone, the aggregation state of polymer chains transform from a random state to a regular stateand membrane permeability increases without a loss of salt rejection. Zeolite nanoparticles dispersed in RO composite membrane changed film morphology and water permeability is increased nearly 50% with equivalent salt rejection.

Adsorption kinetics and rejection characteristics of phthalic acid esters in NF membrane

Jin Ye,Wu Liguang,Zhang Lin

Strategic Study of CAE 2014, Volume 16, Issue 7,   Pages 36-41

Abstract:

The removal of trace phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in water used DK nanofiltration membrane has been investigated. The adsorption behavior and rejection characteristics of dimethyl phthalate (DMP)、 diethyl phthalate (DEP)、di-n-butyl phthalate (DnBP) and di-iso-butyl phthalate (DiBP) were also explored. It was found that adsorption isotherms of PAEs in DK nanofiltration membrane fit the Freundlich adsorption equation well. The rejection characteristics of PAEs involved in the retention of adsorption and the retention of membrane pore before adsorption reaches saturation. After adsorption reaches saturation, the rejection mechanisms of PAEs could be described pore model, and rejection rate (R) of DMP、DEP、DnBP and DiBP were 55.1%、78%、96%、96.8% (0.5MPa,30℃,PAEs concentration 300μg/L), respectively. The results indicated that the trace DnBP 、DiBP in water could been rejected very effectively by DK nanofiltration membrane.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2019, Volume 20, Issue 11,   Pages 1516-1529 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800068

Abstract: An ammonia propulsion (ASVP) system for s is presented. Compared with a normal cold gas or liquefied gas propulsion system, a multiplex parallel sieve type vaporizer and related vaporization control methods are put forward to achieve of liquefied propellant. The problems of high vaporization latent heat and incomplete vaporization of are solved, so that the ASVP system takes great advantage of high theoretical specific impulse and high propellant storage density. Furthermore, the ASVP operation procedure and its physical chemistry theories and mathematical models are thoroughly analyzed. An optimal strategy of thrust control is proposed with consideration of thrust performance and energy efficiency. The ground tests indicate that the ASVP system weighs 1.8 kg (with 0.34-kg propellant) and reaches a specific impulse of more than 100 s, while the power consumption is less than 10 W. The ASVP system meets multiple requirements including high specific impulse, low power consumption, easy fabrication, and uniform adjustable thrust output, and thus is suitable for s.

Strategic Study of CAE 2014, Volume 16, Issue 12,   Pages 17-23

Abstract:

Reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) separation are effective technologies, and have been used in many fields such as the desalination of seawater, ultrapure water production, wastewater treatment as well as water softening. Since the inherent chemistry of the monomers employed in the interfacial polymerization is believed to play a major role in determining the properties of the resulting TFC membranes, a deeper insight into the relationship between the properties of the membrane chemistry and the chemistry of functional monomers is necessary. In the present report, series of novel RO as well as NF membranes based on new type of polyacyl chloride monomers have been prepared. We systematically investigated the intrinsic relationship between the physicochemical properties, transport performance as well as anti-fouling properties of the resultant membranes and the chemistry the polycayl chloride monomers. The result reveal that, as the functionality of the acid chloride monomer increased, the resulting membrane skin layer became more negatively charged, thinner and smoother, and better antifouling ability. All the four membranes exhibited close salt rejection rates. Additionally, a novel positively charged thin film composite NF membrane was prepared utilizing the highly functional 2,2’,4,4’,6,’6-biphenyl hexaacyl chloride (BHAC) monomer. This NF membrane exhibits high efficiencies for many NF applications including rejection of divalent cations, removal of basic dyes and selective separation of mixed cations.

Engineering 2019, Volume 5, Issue 3,   Pages 471-478 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2019.03.002

Abstract:

Volatile components in diamonds, associated garnet (pyrope), and olivine from two extremely rare xenoliths of diamondiferous peridotites recovered from the Udachnaya kimberlite pipe in Yakutia, Russia, were analyzed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) using a Focus DSQ II Series Single Quadrupole GC–MS (Thermo Scientific, USA). These xenoliths are pyrope lherzolite and pyrope dunite based upon compositions of coexisting minerals. Unlike the pyrope lherzolite, which contained pyrope with moderate calcium (Ca)-component content (about 15 mol%), the dunite contained subcalcic chromium (Cr)-pyrope with low Ca-component content (less than 10 mol%). All investigated minerals contained dominating hydrocarbons and their derivatives represented by aliphatic (paraffins, olefins), cyclic (naphthenes, arenes), oxygenated (alcohols, ethers), and heterocyclic (dioxanes, furans) hydrocarbons; nitrogenated, chlorinated, and sulfonated compounds; carbon dioxide (CO2); and water (H2O). The relative concentration (rel%) of total hydrocarbon was 79.7 rel% for diamonds, 69.1 rel% for garnet, and 92.6 rel% for olivine, with a general amount of components ranging from 161 to 206. New data on volatiles in diamonds, associated garnet, and olivine suggest the presence of a wide spectrum of hydrocarbons along with nitrogen (N2), CO2, and H2O in some upper mantle areas.

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 7,   Pages 169-172

Abstract:

The limits of nano-satellite's volume and quality may cause a high density in the cabin. Micro-blind mesh can resolve this problem properly. The intelligent control strategy of micro-blind mesh' s drive is the key technology. A dynamic characteristics model of the spherical nano-satellite was established.Based on the model,a fuzzy PI shunt-wound controller was designed. The simulation was carried on, in conditions of increasing and decreasing the equipments' heat dissipation. Results show that this new controller is superior to the fuzzy controller and PID controller in that the former works well with good control effect and high dynamic performance.

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 11,   Pages 76-81

Abstract:

Composing superresolution of the remote sensing images can remedy the deficiency of the remote sensor. However, precision of the common interpolations are not high. The paper analyzes the subpixel theory of the remote sensing image and interpolates two images offsetting subpixel in order to reconstruct high resolution image. The algorithm of adaptive threshold wavelet denoising based inter-scale is used. Experiment results show this algorithm is better than common methods.
