由中国农业科学院、Nature Genetics、Nature Communications、Nature Plants主办，中国农业科学院农业基因组研究所、大鹏新区管委会和国家农业基因组科技创新联盟共同承办的第五届国际农业基因组学大会将于2019年11月21-23日在深圳举行。届时，大会将搭建农业基因组学领域的国际交流平台，邀请汇聚国内外知名科学家，共同探讨基因组学在农业中的应用和发展方向。第五届国际农业基因组学大会将是一场智慧和知识的盛宴，观点新颖、见解犀利、思想碰撞、信息共享！

Susan Wessler（Keynote）
分子遗传学家、美国国家科学院院士、加州大学河滨分校教授
主要研究转座子在基因与基因组进化中的作用。现为加州大学河滨分校Neil and Rochelle Campbell科学教育创新主席，美国国家科学院（member of NAS, 1998），并当选为美国国家科学院内政部长（home secretary of NAS, 2011）。荣获多项荣誉，包括2011年美国植物生物学家协会（ASPB）Stephen Hales奖、2012年美国实验生物学会联合会（FASEB）卓越科学奖以及2015年McClintock植物遗传学和基因组学奖等。

Susan Wessler is the Neil and Rochelle Campbell Chair for Innovation in Science Education at the University of California Riverside. She is a molecular geneticist known for her contributions to the field of transposon biology. In 2011 she was elected home secretary of NAS. She is the recipient of several awards including the Stephen Hales Prize (2011) from the ASPB, the Excellence in Science Award from FASEB (2012) and the McClintock Prize for Plant Genetics and Genomics (2015). Wessler is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor (2006). She is a member of the NAS (1998), the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2007), the American Philosophical Society (2013), and a Foreign Member of the Royal Society (2017).
Ralph Bock
马克斯-普朗克分子植物生理研究所所长、德国波茨坦大学教授、德国国家科学院院士、Plant Cell高级编辑
主要从事植物细胞器基因表达、遗传互作、生理机能以及代谢研究，同时也探索真核生物基因组进化的机制，以及植物物种形成的遗传和进化过程。在横向基因组转移方面做出了开创性贡献，荣获美国植物生物学家协会马丁·吉布斯奖章（Martin Gibbs Medal of ASPB）。目前为德国国家科学院院士、Plant Cell高级编辑、植物生物技术杂志（Plant Biotechnology Journal）和分子植物（Molecular Plant）编辑委员会成员
Max-Planck-Institut für Molekulare Pflanzenphysiologie, Germany
Ralph Bock is Director at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology, and a Professor at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His research team investigates plant cell organelles, with interests ranging from physiology and gene expression to metabolic and genetic interactions between organelles and other cellular compartments. The Bock group is also exploring the mechanisms of genome evolution in eukaryotes, and the genetic and evolutionary processes underlying the formation of plant species. He is a member of the National Academy Science (Leopoldina), an elected member of EMBO. In 2017, he received the Martin Gibbs Medal of the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) for his pioneering work on experimental evolution and the discovery of horizontal genome transfer. He is a senior editor of Plant Cell, and an editorial board member of Plant Biotechnology Journal and Molecular Plant.
Xinnian Dong
美国杜克大学教授、美国国家科学院院士
主要研究领域为植物分子生物学和生理学，特别是水杨酸和茉莉酸在植物细胞内的信号转导途径及其相互作用机制。鉴定了植物免疫调节剂的主要调控因子NPR1，并在NPR1如何转导免疫信号水杨酸赋予广谱抗病性以及如何将其用于工程作物方面取得了重要发现。现为美国霍华德·休斯医学研究会研究员（HHMI investigator, 2011）、美国科学促进会会士（AAAS fellow, 2011）、美国国家科学院院士（member of NAS, 2012）、美国微生物科学院院士（AAM Fellow, 2013），被评为武汉大学杰出校友，荣获中国生物调查学会（CBIS）吴雷奖。
Duke University, USA
Xinnian Dong is currently an Arts & Sciences Professor of Biology at Duke University. The Dong laboratory identified NPR1, a master regulator of immune regulator in plants, and made several important discoveries on how NPR1 transduces the immune signal salicylic acid in conferring broad-spectrum disease resistance and how to use it for engineering crops. Dong is a HHMI investigator (2011), an AAAS fellow (2011), a member of NAS (2012), an AAM Fellow (2013) and an outstanding alumna of Wuhan University (2013). Dong received the Chinese Biological Investigators Society (CBIS) Ray Wu Award in 2018.
Loren Rieseberg
加拿大温哥华英属哥伦比亚大学教授、美国艺术与科学学院院士
主要利用进化基因组学方法和野外和温室试验进行植物物种起源和进化研究，利用野生极端生物物种的遗传多样性进行农作物改良以及入侵杂草防控研究。现为伦敦皇家学会和加拿大皇家学会会员、挪威艺术与文学学院院士、美国艺术与科学学院院士，自1999年起担任《分子生态学》（Molecular Ecology）主编，历任美国遗传学协会和美国植物学会主席。
The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada
Loren Rieseberg is a University Killam Professor and Canada Research Chair in Plant Evolutionary Genomics at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, where he serves as Director of UBC’s Biodiversity Research Centre. Rieseberg’s lab employs evolutionary genomic approaches and field and greenhouse experiments to study the origin and evolution of plant species, exploit the genetic diversity of wild extremophile species for crop improvement, and combat invasive weeds. He is an elected fellow of the Royal Societies of London and Canada, the Norwegian Academy of Arts and Letters, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is Past-President of the American Genetics Association and the Botanical Society of America, and has served as Chief Editor of Molecular Ecology since 1999.
李家洋 Jiayang Li（Keynote）
中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所研究员、中国科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士、美国科学院外籍院士、德国科学院院士、欧洲分子生物学组织（EMBO）外籍成员、国际欧亚科学院院士、英国皇家学会外籍会员
植物分子遗传学家，主要研究领域为高等植物生长发育与代谢的分子遗传学，主要以粮食作物水稻和模式植物拟南芥等为材料，重点研究植物生长素和独脚金内脂的合成途径与作用机理和高等植物株型形成的分子基础，致力于水稻的分子品种设计，培育高产、优质、高抗、高效新品种。
Jiayang Li is a professor at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is a member of the CAS, the World Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, United States, the National Academy of Science (Leopoldina), Germany, the European Molecular Biology Organization, the InternationaI Academy of Sciences for Europe and Asia and the Royal Society.
Prof. Li’s is a plant molecular geneticist, his main research field has been molecular genetics of growth, development and metabolism of higher plants. Using crop plant, rice, and model plant, Arabidopsis thaliana, as materials, his research has been mainly focusing on synthetic pathway and action mechanism of auxin and witchweed-lactone, as well as molecular basis of plant type formation in higher plants. He has devoted to the molecular variety design of rice and breeding high yield, quality, resistance and efficiency rice varieties.
韩斌 Bin Han（Keynote）
中国科学院上海生命科学研究院植物生理生态研究所研究员，中国科学院院士
分子遗传学家，现任中国科学院上海生命科学研究院副院长、中国科学院国家基因研究中心主任。长期从事水稻的基因组学和数量遗传学研究。完成了对水稻第四号染色体的精确测序和综合分析，开创了水稻全基因组关联分析的体系，系统研究了栽培稻的起源和驯化过程，发现并鉴定了多个控制水稻重要农艺性状的功能基因，为水稻遗传学领域的发展做出了贡献。
Bin Han is a professor at the Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is a member of the CAS
Prof. Han is a molecular geneticist, he is now vice president of Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences and director of the national center for gene research, CAS. He has been working on the research of rice genomics and quantitative genetics for a long time. He completed the precise sequencing and comprehensive analysis of the fourth chromosome of rice, initiated the genome wide association study of rice, systematically studied the origin and domestication process of cultivated rice, and identified several functional genes that control important agronomic traits of rice. Prof. Han made significant contributions to the rice genetic studies.
