As an important field of the conversion of biomass energy，biomass fuel pellets （commonly known as“wood- pellet”）get more and more attention. This paper discusses the combustion performance，the effect of energy conservation and emissions reduction，manufacturing technology and research achievement of the key production equipments. On the basis，the large-scale(annual output of 2.0×10⁵ t) and low-cost wood-pellet production line is completed finally，which has an important demonstration significance to promote the healthy development of wood-pellet industry.
