The article introduces seismic input of nuclear power plant in the world briefly, and mentions some exploratory work for seismic-isolated foundation of nuclear island in France, Japan and China. The article mainly focuses on a general concept design of nuclear island seismic-isolated foundation for AP1000 units by our institute.
