Abstract

This paper reviewed the research priorities, advances of tapping the second and the third generation biofuel as well as the backgrounds of fast growing of two bioenergy industries, that is pellet biomass fuel and biomethane. An overall picture of exploration efforts on bioenergy by international community was given.
