This article introduces the development of tantalum & niobium industry in China and in the world, especially reviews the metallurgical and working technology development of tantalum & niobium in China. Inview of the development condition and economic status of Chinese tantalum & niobium industry in world trade, the existing problems, development direction and measures that should be taken are pointed out.
