Abstract

A description method of part information and manufacturing resources information based on the ontology´s concept is introduced. The attributes of part noumenon and feature noumenon are described. The relationships among noumena and their attributes are analyzed. Finally, the practicality of the description method is demonstrated in the CAPP system.
