Through the study on structure, this paper systematically analysed various factors affecting stability of emulsion explosives, and drew a conclusion that zero osmosis pressure might be a good criterion of its stability. The experimental results show that the osmosis pressures of several kinds of stable emulsion explosive are near zero.
