“2019 International symposium on graphene advanced nanomaterials & defects engineering (GANDE-2019)” will be held at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) during September 20-22, 2019 in Xian, China. This three-day symposium will focus on discussing graphene, advanced nanomaterials. Graphene is undoubtedly emerging as one of the most promising nanomaterials because of its superb properties & wide applications, the importance of structural defects in nanomaterials play an important role in the fabrication of nano-devices with desired properties and functions. Therefore, understanding and controlling defects in a wide class of advanced nanostructures, such as nanowires, nanoparticles, and nanotubes, could probably bring breakthroughs in several crucial areas of science and technology.
This international conference aims to raise awareness of nanomaterials and defects engineering among young scientists, researchers, and engineers from academia and industry and make it possible for them to communicate with international in this area. Following topics will be addressed but not limited in the conference. The sessions will include Invited and Poster Presentations.

(1) Graphene, carbon nanotubes, fullerene and other novel carbon nanomaterials
(2) Advanced Nanomaterials, eg. MXene, nanobelts, nanocomposites, nanoelectronics, nanoparticles et al
(3) Defects Engineering in Nanomaterials
(4) Flexible electronics and Energy Conversion Materials & Devices, eg. TENG, batteries, supercapacitors et al
(5) Biomaterials & Devices, eg. e-skin, 3D bioprinting et al
2019石墨烯新型纳米材料缺陷工程国际会议将于2019年9月20日-22日在西安举办，旨在促进石墨烯、碳纳米管、金属碳(氮)化物、新型纳米材料以及纳米材料缺陷工程技术在能源、环境、医学、信息、电子等领域的国际学术交流与发展。会议将邀请在石墨烯等碳纳米材料、新型纳米材料、纳米材料缺陷工程、柔性电子、生物材料、纳米发电机等相关领域取得突出成果的专家学者，聚焦国际前沿领域的热点问题，研讨纳米材料与缺陷工程领域的最新科研成果。

2. Conference registration process（会议注册缴费流程）
（1）Log into https://wszf.nwpu.edu.cn, click on “Registration System”, select the corresponding registration item, and fill in the information registration.
（2）Select the registration item - registration fee
（3）Click to register
（4）The input of the information from the school staff clicks on the login, and the input from the outside school clicks on the registration.

The hotel is in central Xian, near to the Tang Dynast West Gate, around the west gate of NPUand Laodong South Road, 20 minutes walk to Xian ancient city wall or Islamic Mosque or local people market. The hotel is about 45 kilometers to Xian Xianyang International Airport, 15 kilometers to Xi’an North Station and about 5 kilometers to Xian railway station.
