Abstract
The MIT Technology Review has published "the world's top 10 breakthrough technologies" every year since 2001, focusing on the commercial potential of technologies and their positive impacts on life and society. In order to provide reference for the accurate grasp of future industry dynamics and technology trends, this article deeply analyses the 60 breakthrough technologies published in the MIT Technology Review over the past six years from the perspective of technology effects and types.
