An adjustable anti-resonance frequency controller for a dual-stage actuation semi-active vibration isolation system Research Articles

Bo Zhao, Weijia Shi, Bingquan Wang, Jiubin Tan,shiweijia@hit.edu.cn

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 10,   Pages 1390-1401 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000373

Abstract: In the semiconductor manufacturing industry, the dynamic model of a controlled object is usually obtained from a frequency sweeping method before motion control. However, the existing isolators cannot properly isolate the disturbance of the inertial force on the platform base during frequency sweeping (the frequency is between 0 Hz and the natural frequency). In this paper, an for a system (DSA-SAVIS) is proposed. This system has a significant anti-resonance characteristic; that is, the vibration amplitude can drop to nearly zero at a particular frequency, which is called the anti-resonance frequency. The proposed controller is designed to add an adjustable anti-resonance frequency to fully use this unique anti-resonance characteristic. Experimental results show that the closed-loop transmissibility is less than −15 dB from 0 Hz to the initial anti-resonance frequency. Furthermore, it is less than −30 dB around an added anti-resonance frequency which can be adjusted from 0 Hz to the initial anti-resonance frequency by changing the parameters of the proposed controller. With the proposed controller, the disturbance amplitude of the payload decays from 4 to 0.5 mm/s with a reduction of 87.5% for the impulse disturbance applied to the platform base. Simultaneously, the system can adjust the anti-resonance frequency point in real time by tracking the frequency sweeping disturbances, and a good vibration isolation performance is achieved. This indicates that the DSA-SAVIS and the proposed controller can be applied in the guarantee of an ultra-low vibration environment, especially at frequency sweeping in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 11,   Pages 63-67

Abstract:

MR damper is analyzed on its mechanical characteristic, and is applied in multi-dimension damping in this paper.  A kind of three-translation parallel mechanism is used as main mechanism of multi-dim damping,  whose position and dynamics formula are deduced.  The input signal of controller is from the result of equation of kinematics,  and LQR is used as the semi-active control arithmetic.  Considering complexity of the dynamics equation in dynamic process,  a way is used in control progress when the mechanism is in a steady state through which the entire flat roof is limited adjacent to an equilibrium position.  The result of emulation confirms that the controller is effective.

Weijun WANG, Yun WANG, Jun WANG, Xinyun FANG, Yuchen HE

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 12,   Pages 1814-1827 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2200053

Abstract: As an indispensable part of process monitoring, the performance of relies heavily on the sufficiency of process knowledge. However, data labels are always difficult to acquire because of the limited sampling condition or expensive laboratory analysis, which may lead to deterioration of classification performance. To handle this dilemma, a new strategy is performed in which enhanced is employed to evaluate the value of each unlabeled sample with respect to a specific labeled dataset. Unlabeled samples with large values will serve as supplementary information for the training dataset. In addition, we introduce several reasonable indexes and criteria, and thus human labeling interference is greatly reduced. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated using a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman process.

Li Yunze,Yang Juan,Ning Xianwen,Wang Xiaoming,Shi Xiaobo

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 7,   Pages 48-50

Abstract:

Electrical heater is an important type of active thermal control methods. A dynamical equation of its control object's transient temperature change is established through principle analysis. The heating power demand calculation models at different temperature control models have been developed from the dynamical equation. The calculating flow of electrical heater's heat power has also been introduced. An active heating loop design example, which is included at the end of this paper, shows that the equations developed above can be used conveniently in satellite's active thermal control system designing and calculating.

Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 4,   Pages 36-40

Abstract:

Nuclear energy is a carbon-free,  clean and efficient energy. It is very important in the progress of human civilization and modern development of the world. However,  there are still some problems such as nuclear leak and nuclear waste. In this paper,  the world's nuclear energy utilization and nuclear power plant constructions are reviewed and plans are forecasted. The basic reason of previous nuclear power plant accidents in history is summarized. Taking 2011 Tohuku earthquake -fukushima nuclear power station accident as an example, threats to the nuclear power plant by earthquake are investigated and impacts on social,  economic and ecological environment caused by nuclear power station accident are analyzed. This paper drew lessons from previous accidents and put forward a variety of countermeasures which are from both the technical and management aspects. This paper also put forward some suggestions. Security measures of the existing nuclear power plants should be assessed carefully. The long-term construction plan of the nuclear power plant should be improved. In addition,  emergency management mechanism of the nuclear power plant can be enhanced in the future. The earthquake monitoring and earthquake early-warning system is critical and promoted to be established widely. The nuclear probability safety analysis (PSA) could be investigated in depth. The security education of the public should be continuously popularized and disaster drills be carried out regularly. International cooperation and communication are also advocated to be strengthened. All these measures can be significant in human process to explore nuclear energy correctly. We also appeal people all over the world to respect the nature,  enjoy the nature,  and to create and enjoy the new civilization of human beings.

Research on Active Handoff Mechanism in Micro-Mobility Protocols

Zhao Aqun

Strategic Study of CAE 2004, Volume 6, Issue 8,   Pages 50-56

Abstract:

Aiming at the disadvantages of current handoff mechanisms in micro-mobility protocols, active handoff mechanism is proposed. This mechanism takes advantage of mobility prediction technique to predict the next cell a mobile host will handoff to and the handoff time before the handoff really happens and establish the new path for the mobile host in advance. To guarantee the implementation of active handoff mechanism, a mobility prediction algorithm is proposed which is suitable for active handoff mechanism and easy to implement. Meanwhile the methods to avoid packet loss and packet duplication in active handoff procedure are proposed. The performance of active handoff mechanism is evaluated through theoretical analysis and system simulation. The result shows that active handoff mechanism obtains considerable performance improvement with less cost.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2020, Volume 21, Issue 6,   Pages 809-962 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800743

Abstract: models have achieved state-of-the-art performance in (NER); the good performance, however, relies heavily on substantial amounts of labeled data. In some specific areas such as medical, financial, and military domains, labeled data is very scarce, while is readily available. Previous studies have used to enrich word representations, but a large amount of entity information in is neglected, which may be beneficial to the NER task. In this study, we propose a for NER tasks, which learns to create high-quality labeled data by applying a pre-trained module to filter out erroneous pseudo labels. Pseudo labels are automatically generated for and used as if they were true labels. Our semi-supervised framework includes three steps: constructing an optimal single neural model for a specific NER task, learning a module that evaluates pseudo labels, and creating new labeled data and improving the NER model iteratively. Experimental results on two English NER tasks and one Chinese clinical NER task demonstrate that our method further improves the performance of the best single neural model. Even when we use only pre-trained static word embeddings and do not rely on any external knowledge, our method achieves comparable performance to those state-of-the-art models on the CoNLL-2003 and OntoNotes 5.0 English NER tasks.
