Intelligent compaction theory of high roller compacted concrete dam

In the paper, the concept and realization process of intelligent compaction for high roller compacted concrete dam construction was presented, as well as the theory of real-time monitoring and intelligent feedback control. Based on the analysis of real-time compaction index, a multiple regression model of the dam compactness was established and a real-time estimation method of compaction quality of the entire work area for roller compacted concrete dam was proposed finally. The adaptive adjustment of the roller work parameters was achieved, with the speed, exciting force, the rolling pass and the compacted thickness meeting the standard during the entire construction process, and the compaction quality and construction efficiency can be both improved as a result. What's more, the research provides a new way for the construction quality control of roller compacted concrete dam.

Design of Data Supervision System Based on Dual CPU Structure

To deal with the real-time and multi-channel data acquisition and supervision of the voltage, current and temperature on the clients' lines in communication system, the design method of the system based on dual CPU structure is described in this paper as well as the hardware composition. The connection of main chips and the software flow are discussed as well. This system has been applied to the supervision of 48 V communication lines in mail system.It shows that the dual CPU plan not only meets the system requirement of massive computation and high real-time and anti-jamming performance but also optimizes both software and hardware design.

Scheme and Techniques for Hierarchical Oranization of Video

Digital video is an important data format in multimedia information systems. Traditional video representation is just a time sequence——video stream, thus it is difficult for computer to recognize or perceive video in the content level. To efficiently access and utilize video information, a suitable organization of video data is critical. This paper proposes a video organization scheme, which arranges video into four layers: video program, episode, shot and image frame. This hierarchical structure provides a compact and meaningful video catalogue, which can be easily used for non-linear browsing and content-based retrieval of video data. To achieve such an organization, it needs not only detect the boundary of shots and episodes, but also extract the key frames of shots and select the representative shots and frames for episodes. This paper proposes a number of suitable criteria and techniques for video segmentation and organization, and integrates these techniques into a prototype system. Some organization results using real video data are presented, which show the effectiveness of this organization scheme.

Monitor and control of ultra deep shaft safety and efficient construction

With the increase of the depth of shaft construction, shaft wall safety and the construction are becoming difficult. To ensure the safety and shaft wall construction safety and other factors, the real-time control and monitoring of the construction process is necessary. Feedback monitoring is an important method to ensure the construction safety. Base on the background of Benxi Dataigou Iron Mine's ultra-deep shaft with diameter of 6.5 m, depth of 1 640 m, the paper proposed methods to monitor the shaft wall safety and the condition of construction. It introduced the information construction for video monitor system, hanging plate important point monitor system and promoting bucket monitor system. The monitor system implementation plan may provide detailed information for ultradeep shaft efficient construction.

Based on the analysis of the aircraft structural life envelope (ASLE) under the baseline operational conditions, an approach of establishment of aircraft structural life envelope (ASLE) under nonbaseline operational conditions is presented. The method of service life supervision for individual aircraft structural system(SLSFIASS) under nonbaseline operational conditions is given. Taking the supervision of the time between the first and second overhauls for an aircraft structural system for example, the supervising methods and steps of SLSFIASS are demonstrated.

The purpose of this paper was providing some experience and ready reference for people who could design a utile and abroad popular GPS vehicle monitoring system. The author demonstrated some problems existing in the vehicle monitoring system, such as digital map model errors lead to map matching errors; telecommunication system information lag results in vehicle real time position error and global position system multipath error affects vehicle position. The authors had provided some schemes for solving the problems,e. g. GIS/DR protocol for solving telecommunication system information lag, nerve cell for solving global position system multipath. Experiment showed that the solution schemes had eliminated the system errors. The solution schemes had been applied to some projects,and had acquired very good application effect.

This paper introduces the systemic structure, work principle and main functions of the management and monitoring system of automatic tridimensional warehouse based on Ethernet communication. The thought of software design for developing this system is also introduced in this paper. High-speed data communication realized through Ethernet is fully used in this system to make the real-time management and monitoring to an automatic tridimensional warehouse possible.

Online Monitoring of Welding Status Based on a DBN Model During Laser Welding Article

In this research, an auxiliary illumination visual sensor system, an ultraviolet/visible (UVV) band visual sensor system (with a wavelength less than 780 nm), a spectrometer, and a photodiode are employed to capture insights into the high-power disc laser welding process. The features of the visible optical light signal and the reflected laser light signal are extracted by decomposing the original signal captured by the photodiode via the wavelet packet decomposition (WPD) method. The captured signals of the spectrometer mainly have a wavelength of 400–900 nm, and are divided into 25 sub-bands to extract the spectrum features by statistical methods. The features of the plume and spatters are acquired by images captured by the UVV visual sensor system, and the features of the keyhole are extracted from images captured by the auxiliary illumination visual sensor system. Based on these real-time quantized features of the welding process, a deep belief network (DBN) is established to monitor the welding status. A genetic algorithm is applied to optimize the parameters of the proposed DBN model. The established DBN model shows higher accuracy and robustness in monitoring welding status in comparison with a traditional back-propagation neural network (BPNN) model. The effectiveness and generalization ability of the proposed DBN are validated by three additional experiments with different welding parameters.
