The research of ship-bridge collision protection system for Taizhou Bridge

Shen Gang,Fu Yaohua,Jin Yunnlong

Strategic Study of CAE 2010, Volume 12, Issue 4,   Pages 73-77

Abstract:

The risk of ship collision to the center tower located at the edge of navigation channel of Taizhou Yangtse River Highway Bridge is expected. To protect the bridge, this research integrates a variety of factors to study the protection system of the center tower. Aiming at the suspension bridge with three-tower-span, with combination of ship navigation planning, bridge parameters and characteristics of bridge foundation, the ship collision research is carried out and protective measure scheme is proposed. Calculation and analysis for crash characteristics are carried out to determine the technical and economic characteristics of the protective measures. The safety of the bridge and effectiveness of the protection system under ship collision is studied by applying the dynamic FEM techniques.

Abstract:

This paper analyzes 4 types of group-pile which contains 4 piles withThe main conclusions are: group pile effect of DX pile increases sharply when pile spacing decreases;the bearing capacity of 3D spacing group-pile is 1.32 times larger than that of 1.5D spacing group-pile;effect coefficient of group-pile increases from 0.59 to 0.78 when spacing increases from 1.5D to 3D;when the spacing of pile increases.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 4,   Pages 296-308 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500344

Abstract: Supporting group decision-making in ubiquitous contexts is a complex task that must deal with a large amount of factors to succeed. Here we propose an approach for an intelligent negotiation model to support the group decision-making process specifically designed for ubiquitous contexts. Our approach can be used by researchers that intend to include arguments, complex algorithms, and agents’ modeling in a negotiation model. It uses a social networking logic due to the type of communication employed by the agents and it intends to support the ubiquitous group decision-making process in a similar way to the real process, which simultaneously preserves the amount and quality of intelligence generated in face-to-face meetings. We propose a new look into this problem by considering and defining strategies to deal with important points such as the type of attributes in the multicriterion problems, agents’ reasoning, and intelligent dialogues.

Abstract: Pile-type selection is a very important stage of foundation design, and there are many field factorsinfluencing the decision of pile-type selection. In this study, AHP combined with fuzzy synthetic evaluation method is employed to select the type of pileThe results show that fuzzy AHP approach is an easy and efficient way for pile-type selection.

Abstract: This paper seeks to determine how the overlap of several infrared beams affects the tracked position of the user, depending on the angle of incidence of light, distance to the target, distance between sensors, and the number of capture devices used. We also try to show that under ideal conditions using several Kinect sensors increases the precision of the data collected. The results obtained can be used in the design of telerehabilitation environments in which several RGB-D cameras are needed to improve precision or increase the tracking range. A numerical analysis of the results is included and comparisons are made with the results of other studies. Finally, we describe a system that implements intelligent methods for the rehabilitation of patients based on the results of the tests carried out.
