Vehicle-road collaboration based on BRT-lane TDM support by vehicle-infrastructure integration

Dong Hongzhao,Ling Yue,Liu Dongxu,Guo Mingfei

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 7,   Pages 68-73

Abstract:

In order to increase the availability of the part-time idle BRT-lane,this paper proposes a method of time division multiplexing (TDM) to share BRT-lane with other kind oftime from/to the BRT-lane to/from its neighbor lane and determine the timing sequence for vehicles collaborationThe control strategy of the vehicles collaboration could promise other kind of vehicles to share BRT-lanewithout disturbing BRT's priority.

A practical multi-lane factor model of bridges based on multi-truck presence considering lane load disparities

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2021, Volume 15, Issue 4,   Pages 877-894 doi: 10.1007/s11709-021-0756-2

Abstract: Many bridge design specifications consider multi-lane factors (MLFs) a critical component of the trafficMeasured multi-lane traffic data generally exhibit significant lane disparities in traffic loads overThe model sensitivity analysis demonstrated the significant influence of lane disparity of truck trafficcaused the proposed approach, existing design specifications, and conventional approach of ignoring lane

A Flexible Multi-Layer Map Model Designed for Lane-Level Route Planning in Autonomous Vehicles Article

Kun Jiang, Diange Yang, Chaoran Liu, Tao Zhang, Zhongyang Xiao

Engineering 2019, Volume 5, Issue 2,   Pages 305-318 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2018.11.032

Abstract: map model and lane-level route planning. The current limitation of the lane-level map model is not its accuracy but its flexibility; this studyFor lane-level route planning, we propose a hierarchical route-searching algorithm to accelerate theplanning process, even in the presence of complicated lane networks.Tests were performed on both a grid network and a real lane-level road network to demonstrate the validity
