Chengbin XIAO, Hai YAN, Junfeng WANG, Wei WEI, Jun NING, Gang PAN

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2011, Volume 5, Issue 4,   Pages 526-532 doi: 10.1007/s11783-010-0261-7

Abstract: USTB-05, which was the first isolated MCs-biodegrading sp. in China.USTB-05 was 28.8 mg·L per day, which was apparently higher than those of other bacteria reported soThe optimal temperature and pH for both strain USTB-05 growth and MC-LR biodegradation were 30°C andUSTB-05 within 4 d, while MC-LR with the initial concentration of 28.8 mg·L could be completely removedUSTB-05 containing 350 mg·L protein.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2011, Volume 5, Issue 3,   Pages 402-408 doi: 10.1007/s11783-010-0223-0

Abstract: USTB-01 with the phylogenetic analysis based on 18S ribosomal ribonucleic acid (rRNA) gene sequences.USTB-01 was obtained at day 5, and which was used directly to seed the autotrophic culture.USTB-01 for the fixation of carbon dioxide (CO ). It showed that the autotrophic growth of sp.USTB-01 in the combined photobioreactor was more effective than that in the fermentor alone and the maximumUSTB-01 and 49.8% protein was found in the harvested microalgal cells.
