Abstract

Xihoumen Bridge is the longest two-span continuous steel box girder suspension bridge in China. Several problems have been encountered due to severe natural environment during the erection of steel box girder at anchor-side of north side span of the bridge. The key technique and construction process of erection and linetype adjustment for the steel box girder are introduced.
